Barely scraping past Norwich lol. Doesn't look too good for The Dead One.
...as opposed to dead man walking?
The club have unequivocally backed Jose with a nice shiny new 4 year contract recently and Pellegrini? 1 year? Screams long term to me
Pretty obvious that City are about to hit a slump whereas Chelsea are about to go on one our their trademark winning runs
Dignified retirement, hopefully with a couple of trophies then the new era begins with Pep.
Bit of an ungrateful b'stard aren't you after we did you a favour by beating Norwich?
Boris
We were terrible today, but for all yaya faults, we all knew when it mattered. He will score. I thought everyone had a bad game... But we did win.
I didn't think we were terrible, definately average though.
Too many players thinking about Sevilla?
Maybe yea, I am going over board. But I didn't really think we were gonna score before otamendi goal. And let's be honest, other two were pathetic.
We weren't terrible. Typical game with all opposition players behind the ball. We broke them down eventually as we usually do. Then we had 10 minutes of mayhem. But we weren't terrible. Not like for example Chelsea. Now they were terrible. Or United.
Yeah, I was wrong saying we were terrible.
Such an odd time for Chelsea fans to crawl out of the woodwork, on our board for the first time in numbers... Mourinho not the only one with no idea how to cope

They were absolutely awful. The only one who looked like he wanted to play was Willian. Fibreglass was appaling, Hazard innefectual and Costa a useless dirty fecking animal. Liverpool fans are getting all giddy and they did play well. But they don't seem to have noticed that everybody beats Chelsea this year.
Las year, Chelsea were good enough to hold onto a 1-0 lead without looking for a 2nd. The same can't be said for this season. They should have looked for that 2nd goal rather than allow Liverpool to dictate for long enough to have some chances.

I think we have. There was optimism before the game. I wasnt optimistic myself but even the prediction thread was positive. A win over Chelsea at the bridge is still a great result nevertheless.
On a side note. I can understand why sterling was annoyed that he wasn't taking the penalty. He did all the work, it was the last kick with no pressure and a lb stepped up instead. Thought that was strange, can understand if it was bony or Kdb.
Kolarov was just selfish. He didn't need to take the pen and it would have done Sterling some good to have scored.

I assume that he took it cause he's next in line after Yaya. Who is next after Sergio. His defensive performance really worries me. So much trouble comes down his side, with the centre backs dragged out that way to cover for him.
Kolorov isn't and never has been a defender
Pity we didn't go for Luke Shaw,he's an excellent left back
I'm not sure Sterling can kick it hard enough from the penalty spot for it to cross the line
I agree paul. Grated, we will never know if we have fullbacks taking meaningless penalties.

I was disappointed that Bony didn't want it
Should be a centre forwards dream being the penalty taker, takes the pressure off a barren spell
He'd already spurned numerous chances
Bony's overall game was a big improvement yesterday, he looked a lot more alert and the ball was sticking with him rather than bouncing off his shins.

Just a pity he didn't bury one of his early chances as I'm sure it's a confidence thing with him
