Thanks for that. I feel this could be a defining moment for the Villa. Let's hope Garde's appointment is similar to that of Potechino at Southampton.
I watched Sunderland today and they were truly awful, despite getting themselves back in the game. Bournemouth lost again as did Norwich, so all is not lost. Thing with Villa, as has been said before, we are only losing by an odd goal aside from the Chelsea game.
If we can eradicate individual mistakes, we'll come good.
Let's keep positive and get ourselves out of this mess.

If Garde can sort the defence out we might be ok .. That has been the problem over the few years. I dont know how many goals we have conceded in the last 10 minutes in games but i bet its more than most teams. Garde was not my number one choice, but now he's here good luck to him.

BBC has got it as well.

Re conceding late on, I wonder if Tim's go-for-energy approach was too simplistic. It takes a fair time to build a team up to the point where they can do that, and if they can't they run out of steam. I think we need to pace matches better, and hopefully that's something Garde can bring. And I think he needs to play the flair players and stick with them, because even if they make mistakes they are the only way we're going to build an effective attack.

Looking forwards to his arrival. First match against Man C; what a start!

Really looking forward to seeing him in the PL. Did a very good job at rebuilding Lyon bringing through a lot of quality youngsters. Can do the same at Villa with the likes Adama, Amavi, Grealish, Ayew and others

Has been touted as a potential Wenger replacement and as someone who's lived in the Midlands all my life I have a soft spot for Villa so really hope he does well amd takes tou back to the level you were at under O'Neil

Here' an article on Metro about him:http://metro.co.uk/2015/11/02/revealed-what-to-expect-from-new-aston-villa-manager-remi-garde-5475737/?
Couple of paragraphs I liked:

"Garde will want his Villa team to be fully committed first and foremost. He was a fiercely competitive player and he’ll demand that Villa play with aggression and determination."

"He will want Villa to play good, passing football but is not naïve and is prepared to be pragmatic in order to get results. Lyon often played in a 4-4-2 with Garde."
