Don Bradman's average is so far ahead of anyone else who played the game it's ridiculous so I would go for him. Federer 2nd, the greatest tennis player ever and amazing to watch in his prime. Pele 3rd, Tiger Woods fourth... if he wins another major then he will be a much bigger sporting great. Schumacher fifth, great driver but a lot of his titles was down to the car and reliability as much as talent, he wasn't the best driver ever.

I voted for Pele.
Car driving isn't a real sport so couldn't go for Schumacher. Skiing is a real sport and Schumacher wasn't very good at that.
Cricket back in Bradmans days only had about 4 nations playing, so I discount him on the fact he was pretty much competing in a pub sport.
Tennis is awful, so Federer loses.
Golf is for old men who earn enough to not work full time past their 40th birthday. Again, not really a sport. And Tiger is a stupid name. And Eldrick is even worse.
Pele's not even the greatest footballer of all time let alone sportsman

That isn't the question though.
I'm judging it by how great they were in their own sports.

Pele is not even allowed to lace Messi's boots

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------Bloody hell mate.
Donald Bradman should be a serious contender to win the whole thing. Few if any other sportsmen can have been so far ahead of their rivals. Scoring a hundred is pretty big deal in Test cricket and The Don virtually averaged 100 (99.94). The next best players from any era averaged 60.
Bradman all the way.
Fed close but the signature sports gear lets him down.
Please don't include any more vehicle drivers - give them their own 'greatest' votes so those who can be bothered can debate their various merits in their own inimitable fashion
Pele couldn't lace Messi's boots could he?
Too busy polishing the 3 world cups he won.
Playing for the best club for the last 10 years, getting every decision going your way helps a bit as well.
