I can't see the point of him coming back. He wanted out when he was told that he was going to be playing a minor role by Brendan.
Maybe in the future but not now. It's time to clear out the rest of the failed staff and methods. I think we should buy into this fresh start full tilt.
It defeats the objective of building for the future if Gerrard returns in a playing capacity. Liverpool as a club can't progress with this mentality. The present Gerrard does not have the ability to play the way Klopp wants so to accommodate him our style will be compromised. This happened too much under Rodgers and is incredibly problematic.
Hes only using the clubs facilities, whats the problem
The sole issue is whether or not it would be detrimental to the club. StevieG, all-time legend, is the past. Jurgen is the future. Would Stevie's presence destabilise anything in training, five a side, etc? Possibly. That being the case, let him train with the youths and not the first team.

Maybe at the end of the season, but I want this to be Klopp's club and think Stevie should wait until it is completely established as that.
He was most of these player's club captain just a few months ago, so I worry he may have too much influence still. Not that I necessarily think he would do anything to undermine Klopp, but if there is even a tiny chance of upsetting what is a very happy looking squad, I would rather not risk it. What's the point? If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
I would use the time he is training to sound him out about a coaching role.
See if he is sticking to his LA contract and if so at the end of the next LA season (end of October) bring him in then as a coach.
He has already hinted that he will retire at the end of the contract.
Also contract Carra to see if he would be interested in a coaching job to start in the summer.
I'm not sure running around some cones and taking part in some five a side will destabilise Liverpool Football Club.

The club will be developing a new hierarchy. For the last decade senior players have come and gone but Stevie has been the constant. Arguably he hasn’t been one of our senior players, he’s been THE senior player.
With Gerrard gone the new group will be forming under Klopp, new leaders will be emerging and taking responsibility. Becoming the voices for the new Klopp team. I can see why having Gerrard back in the fold, even to train, might destabilise that. He’ll be the voice again. Other players will naturally want to defer to him as they did for so long.
To a lesser extent (because of the timescales and insane success) it’s a bit like Ferguson remaining in the picture at Utd whilst a new manager tries to make an impact. Should it effect the new man? Probably not. Does it help? I’d say no.
The above said however, it speaks volumes of the confidence Klopp has of managing a situation if he feels he can deal with the re-integration of a club legend without a problem.

This.
Good opportunity to see how the two would gel with an eye on coaching at the club in the future.

----------------------------------------------------------------------Yeah I'm pretty sure this wouldn't be what would the unsettling influence would be.
Other chit chat and general banter round the place most likely.
