Agreed, what a mistake that would be
he is a pwick no question of that.
that said, when it was said lennon racially abused him he came out and said it was lies that suprised me
no, no and no
contributed little and disrupted the shape of the team when he played.
was it a coincidence we played our best football at the end of the season and diouf was know where to be seen, i think not.
He was a great signing last season....as he totally united the Rangers support behind the team, due to the mock-condemnation the celtic fans poured out with.
He's an average player who I personally dont think enhances our side at all, so hope he doesnt sign!
lets all do the dioufy ha ha haha!
Wouldnt re sign him, unless he came for 5k a week, which he wont. Would be a bit part player.
due to the mock-condemnation the celtic fans poured out with.
=======
Mock? he spat on one of our fans, hardly mock condemnation.
majority of football fans, including rangers know this guy is a complete and utter pr!ck of an individual
"a complete and utter pr!ck of an individual"
For spitting on a Dhimm?
That would be the beginning of the end for me, I am afraid.
To sell Jelavic & replace him with the odious specimen known as Diouf would only indicate that the club is beyond the tipping point.
Have had the same seats since the season before Souness - sign up to renew ever year, but this....
ibrox
is this the scarf thing? where he spat in the direction of a rangers scarf?
for the record, hated viduka, anothe trollop of a man, and no denis not onyl cause he spat on a "dhimm" ( are you 8 btw? )
"majority of football fans, including rangers know this guy is a complete and utter pr!ck of an individual"
Honestly, i know you wont like this but i hold Lennon in the same bracket, they have an unsavoury attitude or at least Lenny used to, he cant be accused of that now but in the past he was Celtics Diouf as we couldnt go him. The like of Joey Barton can also be placed in this bracket.
Also, i thought the furore around him coming was a bit of an anti climax as Walter said you would think it was a mass murderer the way some Celtic fans went on about him. When he came he had what? one game where he lost it and nudged over the Celtic physio (Some Celtic fans had that down as an assault aswell) which was out of order but apart from that it was all a bit of an anti climax.
Also for the Record, i think Lenny is unsavoury however i do have respect for him as a manager.
Chadams
i think fiery characters like lennon, barton, black, ian ferguson, are good for the game sometimes, i didnt like ian ferguson much either to be honest.
it had nothing to do with diouf going to rangers, their is a reason few people wanted anything to do with him, between the spitting, the abuse he gave the guy with the broken leg, the nudge on a physio ( a physio ! ) he even tried it with kayal in the 3-0 game as well.
nothing to do with him playing for rangers mate, absolutely nothing, he was a pr!ck way before rangers signed him, his entire attitude on and off the field just stinks.
lennon on the field had a temper, thats about it though.
( are you 8 btw? )
"Fat guy who went for lennon..."
Keny, samaras spat on a dunfermline player and yet you all loved him. Keane lorded it over that Man City player when his tackle wrecked his career, yet you also loved him. You also had a player on trial last year who spat on Hartson, yet no-one batted an eye-lid.
I stand by it, yes it was Mock-Condemnation from the majority of Celtic fans.
Ops, not samaras...sorry, no idea what I was typing there...I meant Viduka.
Keny you castigate Diouf, but try and defend Lennon. As a player I would have Lennon in my team all day long. As a manager he has done relatively well, but his
actions at Tynecastle, in the Cup Replay and at Inverness were totally out of order and are up there with anything Diouf has done. The scarf incident was that he walked fifteen yards to spit on it, that was more
premeditated than the Diouf incident, distasteful as that
was. Support Lennon as a professional but you know he is an odious little man.
he is a fat guy that went for lennon but, where are you say "dhimm" , do you also say smelltic?
bluebear, see above for my thoughts on viduka
tynecastle and inverness, refresh my memory please
regards to the scarf, i dont condone that in the slightest should never have done it, but as to the guy lip reading on the video hes somewhat deluded, and he sees the scarf in passing, he certainly doesnt walk 15 yards to the scarf.
not that that makes it any better.
Keny the incident was immediately in front of me Celtic
won a corner, Lennon was to the left of the penalty spot and walked diagonally to the post where the scarf
was on the ground about six foot behind the line.
The rumour that he might sign and were already bickering.
Tynecastle in November he had to be restrained as he attempted to attack the fourth official.
Inverness kicking the water bottles in the direction of the stands, there were people in there who could have
been hurt had one of those bottles bounced up.
Before you rubbish that Jorg Albertz hit a spectator on the left of their face with a thirty yard freekick which whistled past the post.
