This has been a h€r01c thread!
Was looking at MolMinx earlier today. Lots of the masses on there are running down Edwards. It's a sad bunch for sure. Probably expecting their deciples to take the word out into the world and other forums etc.
If our hero Benik was contributing as much as Edwards it might be helpful
There seems to be a hatred for Edwards with a passion. I'm not one to be easily converted by street corner evangelists, but we maybe need to be careful and on the lookout for infiltrators.
Do you know anybody who may fit into this category ?
He was voted man of the match by Wolves fans on Twitter yesterday. MolMix are all slagging him off as they are more representative of what all the fans think.
To a man everyone was left baffled as to that selection tam, quite farcical.
But hey, Afobe is struggling to get into games, and bizarrely our number ten, the key to a 4-2-3-1 type set up has fewer touches than most of the side every week.
Gets on the end of the odd cross though so don't panic.
If I didn't know better, I would suggest that we are not as good an attacking side with Edwards in it, but it must just be a weird anomaly that over the last three seasons we have scored more without him in the side than with him in it.
I'm not on Molmix so have no idea what they speak of
I have looked before, but to be honest they seem like a boring bunch !
I may join and see if I can infiltrate the hierarchy ?!?

No idea what website you read, I have not found any such hatred anywhere, just a more balanced view of a limited player than this site with about ten posters
Cortese looking to buy Leeds.
Molineux mix is a CULT
Go on there for five minutes and your eyes glaze over. Stay any longer and you will be burning effigies of Mick, Dave and Wardy - the three of whom are responsible for the mess we are in.
Mick - Satan
Dave - False Prophet
Wardy - The Beast
Of course, those who are in this cult will come on here and pretend otherwise. However, their hatred will seep through their posts eventually.
They will also smell of smoke.
Starting to think you guys go to a different site as that certainly isn't Molmix
But I understand the need to knock it, its a lot closer to the truth than this shambles

Does well to get on the end of any cross. Most of them go out of play either for a throw or goal kick.
Edwards isn't our problem. Our problems are that our main striker can't create space for himself and our wingers can take on a man or put a cross in. The one positive we have had recently is the pressing up top, which has all come from Edwards whilst Afobe just stands there.
Edwards continues to be the scapegoat for a section of the fans. The best thing that has happened to Wallace and Graham is them not playing as, like when we Eastwood, that same section of fans think they are better and better the more they don't play.
There is a whole thread on MolMix related to Dave Edwards, with fan after fan slating him. The reason you don't think it is as bad Cinci, is that you use it to reaffirm your opinion. Everything you see on there just reaffirms what you think and therefore you think it is a good representation.
I don't tend to read other sites that much, mostly because I don't feel the need to hunt for an opinion to match my own so as to feel more justified in what I say on here. I prefer to just comment on what I've seen and put forward my own ideas on how wolves can improve, what our best team might be and who has played well or less well in a game.
one thing I do find odd is that we all know afobe is a decent player who can be very good when he is in form. but this season he has been poor most weeks, and it is amazing to me that for a player who some have touted as England class, those same fans seem incapable of laying a large part of the blame for his form at his own door.
this is supposedly our most talented individual, who cannot be criticised, and is the first name on the team sheet each week, but when some of us ask why he isn't doing more to earn that praise, we are told he is getting no service and is frustrated with those around him. well, just my opinion, but if a player really IS that good, then they should be making things happen themselves? they should be showing their lesser team mates how to play, and making it easier for them to find them with the ball? not just running around like a headless chicken and looking stroppy every time they lose possession.
whatever his ability, sako always seemed to take responsibility on the pitch and to create goals, even team performances, from sheer hard work and belief. he could tip over into trying too hard and become wasteful, but he was always involved in key incidents. I never agreed with those who said we wouldn't miss him that much, or that other players like afobe were more important to the team, but I accept that we all see (or read afterwards) things differently. I do think this season has proved which view was right on sako and his role at the heart of our side. and dicko equally.
I also find it odd that when lesser players do contribute, to the best of their ability, and even score winning goals or set up assists for their team mates, they are given less praise and less support by some fans. surely, an average championship player working as hard as he can and contributing every week deserves as much, if not more of our support than someone who is underperforming week in week out?
I often wonder if these players that some fans single out for ridiculously high levels of praise believe the hype themselves, or whether they're actually embarrassed to hear some of the things people say. i'd like to think they realise that football is a team game, and so long as all eleven are giving their best on the pitch then that is the starting point. I am sure afobe would be the first to pin recent failings on himself, and not to try to pass it off as the fault of those players around him.
You mean the thread where he is equally slated and praised tam?
Our best player by a mile is Afobe, and yes he is out of sorts, but yet nobody seems to want to figure out why.
The answer is simple, its service, and that falls on the wingers and the 'ten'. Just a few weeks ago you were complaining that Afobe falls to deep looking for action, well that is gonna happen when you can't rely on the guy behind you doing the spade work.
Edwards busts a nut, but isn't remotely creative or handy at opening solid teams up.
But hey, your way is clearly working, lets keep him in the side and labour around mid table creating little.
I don't tend to read other sites that much, mostly because I don't feel the need to hunt for an opinion to match my own so as to feel more justified in what I say on here.
Translation.....I don't care what anyone else says, I am right they are wrong.
