We had to go for it but he should of took Lallana off instead

We didn't have to go for it, evidenced by what happened when we did. At least not so early. Klopp will learn though, he underestimated Palace.

Agree with this. Maybe in Germany smaller teams sit back for the point but a team like Palace with power and pace were never going to sit back.

I prefer taking the chance. Fergie did it whenever it's needed a goal and it worked more times than it didn't. It was a bold move but I back him for doing it

End of November apparently. We now have the most injuries in the league.

Nothing wrong with going for it but the chances have to be taken when they come which they weren't. Easy being wise after the event and the dreadful finishing

It wasn't a case of being wise after. It was completely obvious at the time and it rang true. It was far too early to make that kind of change, especially on a draw, whilst on top of the game, against a team like Palace, with the pace and power they have on the counter and the strength and aerial ability they possess. Only a manager with limited knowledge on Palace would have done that.

Klopp didn't underestimate them, was just same old poor defending. Point would have been a decent result given the trip to Russia but very poor to lose it.

They are everything this side hate played against, defend in numbers with strength and aerial ability, do well on corners and excellent pace on the counter. It's our worst nightmare.

Klopp is trusting players to do the job he's asking the ones that can't won't be around very long.

The defensive frailties have been allowed to develope over a long space of time and they will take some time to iron out.

Good thing is Klopp has one way of doing things and won't keep chopping and changing like Brendan did.

Thought we deserved to win on the balance of play but we left ourselves open we we took a midfielder off for Firmino. I definitely put it down to underestimating him. Klopp will look back on that as a mistake. No doubt about it.

I don't think the defence did anything wrong. Can made a mistake for their first goal, and Firmino who came on for Can, for our second goal. Thought the defence did very well, limiting them to basically nothing and full backs pushing up and using the ball well.

Defending set pieces cost us

And poor finishing

posted on 8/11/15

He needs to see warts an all so I am not concerned with us getting beat or playing poorly - I don't want average players playing above themselves for a new manager and he might think hey these aren't that bad but the truth is we need quite a few adjustments and I can only hope he proves to be as good as he seems so far ( honest, passionate etc)

Yeah spot on, adding in the fact Pardew has a good record against us makes it all the worse.

Coutinho, Firmino, Lallana?

I think we need better wide players. Teams know we don't have good wide players and sit in compact against us, knowing we won't stretch them and damage them from wide, allowing more space for the good playmakers that we do have.
