Debuchy said he'll consider leaving in January. Not Arsenal level anyway.

He was decent against Spurs in terms of tackling atleast though

Don't think we can recall Jenks in January.

Would be a disaster selling Debuchy in January. Wenger wouldn't get a replacement he'd use Chambers as Bellerins back up

Nobody will be sold in january - the squad is wafer thin as it is

Jenkinson cannot be recalled, and should not be anyway. He will have 2 seasons as first choice under his belt. little point having him sat on our bench really...

I don't see the sense in selling Debuchy, a proven French international. He's rusty and will get back to his best with more games, bar injuries. Even Walcott needed time to become sharp again after being out for so long. Enough of this microwave football mentality.

Full back is definitely one of the tougher positions to get decent back up in.

There really is no rotation at FB so whoever came in would either have to consider themselves able to get into the first team, happy to bench warm or very young.

Getting a top player worked out well with Monreal but Bellers is nowhere near as injury prone as Gibbs.
Players who are happy to bench warm are usually dross.
Youngster is tricky because Bellerin is so young himself.

Think we should stick with Debuchy (who can be decent) till summer at least.
Your idea of getting Jenkinson back instead would be fine with me but I'm not sure it's actually possible.

After summer, if Jenks is happy to fight for his place but realistically be behind a younger and better player then that's not a bad situation really.

Debuchy will be decent enough back up once he gets his fitness back, and has game time under his belt. Would be tough to get a back up much better than him, especially in January. There's more pressing positions to strengthen in January than RB

Is Jenks that committed to a future with Arsenal? It wouldn't surprise me at all if the emergence of young Hector has made Jenks decide to seek a permanent move to where he'd be first choice.

Friend of mine, who works at WHU said, Jenko will never play for Arsenal as he was overlooked by Wenger. I think, he will force a move to West Ham in the summer.

Bit strange as im sure Jenkinson signed a new contract in the summer which suggest he may be required.

End of the day Debuchy has like 1 more season max with us and Jenko is gaining vital first team experience at West Ham.
