Yeh but you need to stick with it, it doesnt become easier but you become better, and one day it will suddenly click, you will learn to parry and know how the weapons work etc, the first 5 hours are the worst.
Have you got 1 insight to be able to level up?
You will eventually figure out a play style that works for you and if you give it a bit of time you will most likely grow to love it.
I still have to play this game, should probably give it a go, Then there's Witcher, Fallout, and I still haven't finished MGS,
Oh well one day
I've moved to fallout now, I was slightly disappointed with mgs to be honest. Still, definitely got my money's worth out of it.
Yea simon....ill be honest...i dunno what im at yet with the power ups and weapons....im just battling those guys on the streets of yharnam at the start....ive kinda figured out the actions with that big blade...it looks like a super creepy game...
ill be at it this weekend when im off work....
How you getting on now DUNDALK, getting the hang of it yet?
Amiga...
im stuck on that first long stretch street in yharnam where the big thing is on fire and the guys are standing around it...
i am finding that if i miss with one strike i get killed nearly straight away ..
ive tried sneaking up the street , going gung ho but im not getting anywhere ...and im close to facking my control off the wall
And this is the very start...like 5 mins in ..
Hardest game ive played in agea
ive tried sneaking up the street , going gung ho but im not getting anywhere ...and im close to facking my control off the wall
best tactic i found was to sneak up the right side of the street right by where the portcullis is, take out the lone enemies as you go. when you get to the portcullis, lure the rest out one by one. You can throw stones at them to draw them to you
Keep at it DUNDALK the satisfaction you will get when you beat it will be well worth it.
Mind you I haven't played it, so it's easy for me to say.
SoG has the solution, and don't worry it will be worth it. But like SoG said take the right hand side (go up the stairs killing the lone gunman just before the bonfire), kill the sentries there. Then when you get near the end you will see the last guy who after a while wonders up to the gate at the end - dont kill him! Instead go down a couple of the steps (dont go to the bottom) there, this should draw a couple of guys from the bonfire, back up the stairs and kill them behind the fence to be protected from the riflemen. Kill them and then go back stab the guard who is starring at the gate, fall down the gap and run behind the carriage killing the dog, wait for the 2 man patrol and kill them using the carriage as protection. Fingers crossed there should be only a few left and just keep moving to avoid the riflemen.
Cheers mate ..ill try the sneaky right hand side ...
and yea its that gunman on the wall thats had me a good few times
Has it worked DUNDALK? have you got past it yet?
