Gerrard and Torres were the better pair.
Suarez is the outstanding player in the 4 though. The best player Liverpool have had since Dalglish and one of the top 5 or 6 forward to play in the premier league imo, in spite of what an unlikeable fella he is.
Suarez alone scored more than Torres and Gerrard combined (EPL) in the respective seasons.
The style of football has a little bit to do with this (i.e. Rafa's somewhat cautious approach) but the 13/14 football was as exciting play as I've seen.
Suarez and Sturridge for me.
Prob suarez and sturridge as Gerrard and torres also played with some special players alonso mash etc
But it's very close imo
torres and gerrard and its not close.
suarez made sturridge look better than he was.
torres and gerrard were both indiviidually great complimented each other fantastically shame rafa ruined his career by cintantly rushing him back
As a pair Gerrard and Torres as think you need to mix sterling into 13/14 as a trio
suarez made sturridge look better than he was
===================================
I think if the boy wasnt so injury prone, hed have already dismissed this common held myth.
Of course playing with players like Suarez will improve you, but, if it were not for his injury record, Sturridge would still be banging in bags of goals, and we would probably have made the champions league last season.
Sturridge the weakest of the 4, although i feel like we'll never really see how good Sturridge can be because hes constantly injured.
Suarez is probably the most talented of the 4 (Gerrard a close 2nd) and the most influential in the liklihood of LFC winning a game (again Gerrard a kinda close 2nd), so for me Suarez was the best of the 4
Even when he <occasionally> returns from injury he has still scored goals.
Suarez and Sturridge for me. Luis up front is considerably the best of those players as forward and Sturridge consistently when available, and especially when fit, bangs them in.
Sas for me. They were actually a good pair and despite some areas of press etc they did pass to each other. The goals both scored were sublime.
In terms of individuals suarez wins hands down.
Suarez and Sturridge.
Gerrard and Torres would beat the opposition, but Suarez and Sturridge would destroy the opposition.
Even with us leaking 2 or 3 goals a game, SAS were still winning us games, constantly scoring 3, 4, or 5 goals a game.
And they were completely unstoppable.

Sturridge and Suarez. Mainly because of Suarez, most talented player I've seen play for the club in my lifetime and I'd be surprised if I see any better. He was just sensational.
We really were some side in the second half of 13/14 I think arsenal at home that year is my favorite league game ever totally destroyed a top 4 rival, Spurs away that year was very impressive too.
But the 08/09 team was brilliant too and played some outstanding (pun intended) football.
Imagine if we could combine the best of the two sides. Suarez studge Alonso masch peak Gerrard and cara finnan reina arbeloa that would be a great side.
Who would be manager 13/14 rodgers or 08/09 Rafa...... Feck it Klopp can be manager
I think Suarez & Sturridge were better overall.
Liverpool had a poor midfield and mediocre back five, yet still scored 101 PL goals and went within a whisker of winning it all.
Gerrard & Torres were cool but they needed Mascherano & Alonso.
Loved watching Suarez play. If I could choose one player to swap from our league and La Liga and they both had to be of equal quality more or less.. id give up Aguero for Suarez so he could come back to the PL...Id give both of them up for Ronaldo to come back though.
Torres and Gerrard were a great partnership also..
Sturridge.. is a good player but not at the level of the above 3.
I wonder how torres prine and suarez would have got along
They seemed to link up pretty damn well in Gerrard's testimonial and there was a lot of man love there, much more so than between Suarez and Sturridge which was always more a friendly rivalry. Blame Torres for packing his bags as soon as Luis arrived.

Agree, they obliterated opposition on a weely basis and they weren't flat track bullies either, they did it against the big boys.

Not sure about that.
They lost both games vs Chelsea and 2/3 games vs Arsenal and 1/2 vs City.
Suarez and Sturridge in terms of productivity. Gerrard and Torres in terms of understanding and teamwork.

didnt have to think about it very long either'''
As someone pointed out earlier, Suarez scored more goals than Gerrard and Torres combined. And then you've got the 20 goals to add on from Sturridge. They had more assists too, and neither took pens.
It was the attack that made the 12/13 team as good as it was (primarily those 2), whereas the 08/09 team was as good as it was mainly because of the spine of the team.
all 4 together in a 4-2-3-1 with Alonso and Masch holding
