It should free up wages too which will hopefully be reinvested in the squad.

Yeah apparently they have their legal team working on it so hopefully they can push it through quicker. As long as the legal team don't perform the same way as the football team then we should be fine...!
Dreadful signing like you say, I'm certain more will follow him out the door.
Be interesting to see who else goes though. Maybe Donaldson since he seems to be totally out the picture.
As he's said though, although we've got a big squad it's primarily kids. We need experience.
Wasn't all that confident when he signed, but like most was willing to give him a chance. Shame he didn't take it.
I haven't seen much of him play, but as far as I can tell he didn't really do anything. I suppose it's difficult for an attacking forward to look horrendously bad as your mistakes aren't punished that severely. He made a decent run against Dundee and that's the only contribution I remember him ever having. Was it just his total anonymity on the pitch that has made him a target, or was he even worse than that?
Yeah from what I've seen of him he just didn't do anything. For me he was one of those players who just wasn't suited to our game - he had a fairly languid style and seemed to lack both pace and strength. He had one performance (I forget against who) where he played ok but apart from that he was poor.
He was less bad against Hearts I think, but that's it.
