Remember when righteous got mad when people said Sturridge was injury prone 18 months ago. Even Diaby plays regular football now in comparison
----------------------------------------------------------------------
18 months ago there wasn't much evidence to suggest he was injury prone, he played loads of games. Since then he had a long injury and has broken down a few times, which happens a lot after players have long injuries, that's why it's imperative that he only comes back when close to 100% and doesn't rush back, even with slight niggles.
I can't think of a time in Sturridges career when he has ever been 100% fit or close to it, doubt there ever will be one. Was there a 6 month period under AVB?
Under Chelsea, Bolton, beginning of Liverpool career
How Sturridge got injured again...https://vine.co/v/eKhZ2Oi3Azg
Sturridge has picked up 17 injuries after 72 Liverpool matches, working out at 4.24 games per injury.
Since August 2007, Sturridge has had 30 injuries and 3 absence periods for illness. [PhysioRoom]
Unfortunately it's getting to the point with Sturridge where he isn't worth his wages.

Any link to studge's latest injury?
When he gets fit, perhaps he needs a Ledley King style regime. No training, just matches, he seems to get injured in training a lot but not so much during matches.

We aren't a club in a financial position to pay a player £150k a week to make 10 appearances a season so the owners will consider the position.
Torres never had an injury after he left, bet the same happens.

RVP also. It's worth the risk, especially considering a club have a duty to help players, they are employees afterall. Sometimes people find it difficult to differentiate between a human and somebody who's a millionaire.
Sturridge has now missed 68 games for Liverpool. He's played 70 times.
Not injury prone?

Gunner if you're implying that it should be 'Red' and not 'Reds' you're wrong. Reds is the nickname of the club, which is one club, not a plural. I've had this conversation before, it's like Groundhog Day in here.

I know that they call you the "Reds" but in connection with the German it is simply wrong (in my mother language).
