Infact although westham was the best performance, Mancity was no doubt the harder game and probably the best result of the season. Lamela was by far the best player on that day.

I have never doubted Lamela was MoTM against City – and I was the first to comment, on the first article created, directly after the City game to praise Lamela. But 1 MoTM performance per 2-3 seasons isn’t enough. I expect, even some of the poorest players in the league will have won MoTM at some point.

Man City was arguably the better result – but in reality it was a game of 2 halves performance wise, whereas we bossed the West Ham game for every minute bar the 87th.

Yes and I am admitting westham was the best performance. But you can't sit there and make a case for Lamela not starting due to that performance then put your fingers in your ears when I mention 3 excellent performances where Lamela played and was heavily involved

Lamela has had 1 excellent game - that game was back in September.
