WKC Carrick actually got into his stride later in the half.

He did I agree, but in terms of defensive shielding, he isn't energetic enough imo.

Definitely, no where near the required standard anymore to be playing for Man Utd.

Smalling was also trying g to get Rooney to stand in front of him for a corner but Rooney just pushed him away and so smalling called martial over
