Jackett said of the speculation: "It's not my position to talk about others clubs. But there hasn't been any approach to myself, or as far as I'm aware, the club,

He doesn't say his agent hasn't been contacted.
Would rather have a new owner before we have a new manager. Don't have faith in Moxey making the right choice of replacement
I agree dj, but if he does go onto bigger and better things I think RE will get the job.
I see JFH is in talks at QPR.
Thank god for that.
I was hoping Jackett would go to QPR and with the compensation money we would go after Jimmy Floyd. Never mind.
Not many decent managers out there now if Jackett does get the boot. Won't be long till Pearson goes somewhere.
I was hoping the same tam.
woohoo it's a celebration
Who would take the job with several groups in talks with morgan over a takeover?
Anyone who agreen and they gets a mega pay-off when they're dismissed.
who wouldn't take the job - still one of the biggest clubs in the country, great ground and training facilities, presumably a decent pay packet, and the chance of being there when new rich owners arrive bearing sacks of cash...
I don't get it when people think that managers are really choosy people who weigh up the long term future of a club before deciding if they want the job. in reality, they understand that they're only ever a bad month away from the sack wherever they work, and that most will be dismissed several times in a career.
There would be a huge list of managers who would jump at the chance to manage us, the issue isn't finding someone it is finding someone good and our current board has a 1 in 4 success rate when it comes to doing that.
exactly
I wouldn't trust morgan or moxey to replace doris the tea lady, let alone find our next manager. I can't help but feel that moxey's first question at every interview is "how do you feel about keeping me on the board?", followed by "what's yr policy on working almost exclusively with unknown kids from the third and fourth division?".

We only give 12 month rolling contracts.
If the manager goes we will not bring someone new in, Rob Edwrads will get the job.
ffs we wont sign any players never mind bringing in a new manager with the sale on the horizon.
You keep saying that a sale is on the horizon Perton but there is absolutely no evidence that it is. Look at how long other clubs have been up for sale, look at how long we were up for sale last time. This process could take years.
Yes I do tatter the evidence is from the club that there are several interested parties and at least 3 have signed a disclosure of information agreement.
As far as other clubs are concerned how does that relate to the sale of wolves? It doesn't.
My understanding is that there are currently three groups interested in buying the club, one of which has signed a declaration of information agreement
please dog, let them be rich, generous and not from Liverpool.
there is only one true dog and his name is dog. all other dogs are just representations of the one dog.
What is a declaration of information agreement dj?
You're putting a great deal of weight on these non disclosure agreements perton. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but does it not just mean someone has been allowed to see the books and agreed not to disclose that information? That doesn't necessarily mean there are any serious buyers, it could be very wealthy people doing it out of interest, it could be wealthy people having a look because they're thinking about possibly buying a club but aren't that serious, it could be people involved in the purchase of other clubs who want to see how we compare.
