I am not convinced the bombing supporters have thought this through,and I despise daesh,but think we only make a complex war,civil war,even more messy.

What grinds my gears is that the same folk (on my Facebook timeline, down the pub etc) who said we should turn away refugees because we don't have the money are the same guys who are deliriously happy that we are spending vast amount of money on bombs to drop in the desert.

I wasn't saying that those who want to stop refugees are racist, it's a perfectly acceptable view.

It's those who argue that we can't afford refugees but are now beside themselves with glee that we are spending half a million pounds per airstrike.
