Good news. Awful puns.

N'gog has signed for Bolton. Don't really care how Joe Cole does, just glad he's gone. Didn't think we would get rid
of all dead wood this period, but happy days. Think we are ok for this season, but another striker would be nice.

Unbelievable!

How many unneeded players did Kenny get rid of?

Speaking of technology does anyone know how to retrieve data from an excel spreadsheet that I deleted?

Ha Ha. Funny though there is a German guy who sits opposite me who falls asleep on regular occasions. So there is another falicy out of the fenster (German efficiency).

If you deleted it yourself then Its probably gone but if you close down Excel and re open it, usually there some auto recover versions of your work which are held for a while. Wouldnt count on it though....

If the excel spreadsheet was on a shared drive (i.e at work), you may be able to retrieve it from the history. If it isn't then I'm afraid you've lost it mate.

Oh well never mind. I guess July's sales figures werent that important.

There are various apps you can download that'll help piece together deleted Excel files, but it's hard to know which ones to trust. Make sure it's a reputable site (download.com is good, I use that quite a bit). Most info is kept on your machine for a while in some form or another, even if it's been dumped from your machine...

Close down your PC, go to the pub. Works every time.

Just copy july's figures from the year before - who's going to know/care?

posted on 31/8/11

I was updating Augusts figures and overwrote July's buy mistake. Think I'll just make them up.

And hope that nobody notices?

I like it.

Is it on a network drive? If so there should be a back up.
