Just to kick things off and i know will make some ps4 users very very happy!
Sony blow MS out of the water in the backwards compatibility, yes only 8 games but look at those 8 games
"The following titles will be available to buy tomorrow from the PlayStation Store in the Americas and Europe:
Dark Cloud — $14.99
Grand Theft Auto III — $14.99
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City — $14.99
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas — $14.99
Rogue Galaxy — $14.99
The Mark of Kri — $14.99
Twisted Metal: Black — $9.99
War of the Monsters — $9.99"
Vice City was only £3 in the Black Friday sale on the PS3, so save your money and wait for a sale on that one! I'd also be interested to see if people who've bought it on PS3 can play it on PS4 without having to buy it again.
Is there any information about what they've done to the game - any upscaling or is it pure emulation? Seems a bit of cheek to charge for them when the Xbone just allows you to put in your old discs and play 360 games. Not really backwards compatibility if you have to buy the bloody game again.
Drunken Hobo although fair points you forget, if you dont have a ps3 it costs quite a bit more than $3 (though i dont know why you wouldnt have one).
Have also said in many posts that the best ps2 games are often found on other platforms already and yeh cheaper than the $15, i will imagine these will often be on sale regularly.
To answer your other question:
"Every game has Trophy support, and PlayStation boss Shuhei Yoshida notes that each game's Trophy set was "developed in conjunction with feedback from the original creators to be sure that they capture the spirit and feeling of each game." In addition, they all run in upscaled 1080p and include support for the following features just like other PS4 games:
Remote Play
Live Broadcast
Share Play
Activity Feeds
Second Screen support for game manuals with PlayStation Vita or PlayStation App"
For some (me not included) the trophies alone are almost worth the $15.
Also they run at an improved framerate, so if you enjoyed those games, it will be the best way to play them
Is it still $3 for ps3? Or offer ended?
So first key note out the way, and I will be honest I'm a little disappointed. No big aaa really mentioned, and vr made to look so gimmicky and basically the Wii v2. OK some other games were interesting. The panels may shoe us some more stuff.
VR, I think it will be a few years before they nail it, its one of those things that I don't think will be particularly good on release.
The backwards compatability, which was the GTA that you had to remote control a helicopter, does anyone remember?
Wasn't that GTA 3
Vice city was such a great game would love another go
The final fantasy 7 PC port(not the remake) out today apparently. I'll download that after finishing fallout 4

SanAndreas hated that mission
Ditto, thats why I asked!
Yes nothing to get too excited about, a few things interested me but no major announcements, The stuff they showed for VR too was underwhelming, but hey it has to start somewhere.
Onwards and upwards.
Pretty sure the GTA RC helicopter mission was from Vice City. Where you get in the Top Fun van then have to plant the bombs in the building site. Took me ages to get past that.
The most annoying mission on San Andreas is easily remembered by the following line..
"All you had to do was follow the damn train, CJ"

This man is correct. Other missions were frustrating, but at least it was still my fault if I failed. Relying on the AI to accurately gun down several targets was absolute hell. Big Smoke ended it with a bullet in his brain on more than one occasion.
Welcome aboard Tino me old mukker, whats the first game you gonna play?
Gotta say War of Tanks is well worth giving a go
Mrs B picked it up for me....Star Wars battlefield which in the two hours I played seems really good
Drive club not looked at yet to be honest
And GTA V which I had on 360 - still it's something for a blast
Sounds like a decent start, enjoy buddy
I know it's sad to see the Ferrari go, but you can get by with a little run around.
Are you going to try The Last Of Us?
Get a company on tuesday a nice 65 plate
Last of us is on the post Christmas list...along with

FiFA it's all PES now <wink>
PES 3 possibly my fave recent ish footy game
Prior to that
