Nigel Clough worked wonders with Burton Albion, I certainly didn't want him to leave. I know that things have changed here since he left but I'm sure he has learnt from his experiences elsewhere. I would be pleased to see him back, although very slightly nervous, in case it doesn't go as well as before.
yes 2nd time round don't know if it will work but happy to have him on board and if we keep playing as we have done cannot see any probs
Some say they wanted a new face at the Albion , but that is always a risk and we have been very lucky up till now.
Burton Albion is in a safe pair of hands with NC, he knows the club and most of the staff. He will have the best interest for the club.
NC and Ben will be looking at long term plans of stability, making sure all the good work done is not undone.
For me , I think this was all planned weeks ago. It would not supprise me if JFH, NC and Ben have sat together and talked this all through.
Welcome back NC.

very sad to see jfh leave.its left a bad taste.I love the brewers and go to matches when I can.not sure about bringing back n c to be honest.i didn't like him at derby but I wish him and burton well.come on you brewers...
Very sad that we have had to have Nigel as manager for me its a panic move.
We should have looked at other candidates that show hunger to kick on like Jimmy has its the only way keep players hungry to do well.
Nigel is not a manager I think has got the hunger to get the best out of players and his assistants imo are useless and part of why he has never become a top manager.
Sorry guys I am not happy at all I think we will go into freefall and I am not looking forward to the rest of the season.
emnez I am in complete agreement
if we are to have an ex manager I would rather have
warnock he has got more fight in him
Listening to his a interview he's already making excuses: 'overachieving'... 'Teams have now sussed Burton out and will do better in return fixtures' etc.
He surrounds himself with his hapless mates. Can't see it ending well, hope I am wrong though.
Not doing bad so far gents...
