Why are we slating our players?

I find it funny when people slate Njie, when he comes on he does ok and tries to make things happen.

On another day when he was through on goal it wouldnt of been offside, and had he stuck it away people would be going nuts about him.

Supporters like chairmen and owners expect instant success now and should be more patient. I think Eriksen will regain his form and just be patient with Son. Just don't know about NJie or Lamela but I echo the sentiments about yesterday, it was a good result.

This lot just beat arsenal on their own patch - no mugs at all and a pulis side will always compete.

Actually, it was at the Hawthorns. And it was our unluckiest result of the season. They beat us 2-1 with just one shot on target after barely having a kick.

Superiority syndrome Chronic. We are Spurs, we should be beating the baggies! Dier is rubbish, Clinton should be selling cards, blah blah blah. I was disappointed but not surprised. The baggies can be a tough bunch to beat. We need to start winning away agreed but have faith and let's not turn on our own so readily.

Shortback, I'm waiting to see how the Baggies do at home in their next 4 or 5 matches and I bet they don't lose or draw too many. I see a run of wins coming which means Spurs' draw there will be seen as a good result.

I think Spurs will crack on now too.

I have no idea what prompted such an outburst of emotions, Chronic, since I have yet to see any articles that slated our players yesterday?

Get hold off yourself man (or woman)?

The draw yesterday was in fact a great result for us.

Arsenal played them few days back. RIP Arsenal lost

So at least we didn't collapse and surrender

We have lost the ART of LOSING and I am loving it

Though Chel$ea have found that ART

I only watched the highlights yesterday and our only problem is that Kane is our only forward.
Poch is aware of this and is addressing this in January.

A year ago we would have crumbled as soon as we conceded the equaliser.

A point away to anyone is a good result IMO .

Kane had a stinker yesterday mate

He's entitled to one though so hopefully he'll be back at full tilt against the Geordies next Sunday.

Expect him to score a hat-trick at WHL on TV , you heard it hear first

I did not watch the game but i firmly believe Eriksen needs to play the number 10 role.

We have been moving him around to accomodate other players but all we are doing is taking away our most creative player from a creative role.

Son is also a very, very good player and will establish himself in the starting 11.

A draw at West Brom is not a good or great result for us.

We are quite clearly drawing too many games this season which indicates we're not clinical enough or we lack that extra guile or invention to get that extra goal and win the game which is a slight concern. With the midfield we're playing, we're more perspiration than inspiration.

Now the lamela one was only by that stubborn idiot chicken, so can be discarded.

Lamela rated 5/10 in the morning paper so maybe this stubborn idiot has a fair point .

Your luckiest result of the season was stealing a point at home to Tottenham. You were beaten at WBA, deal with it. Yesterday Arsenal were back to their flat-track bullying at their best, beating the very worse teams in the division at home.

We have drawn lots of games, however, it is progress, in seasons gone by we would probably have lost those games but now we are picking up points and showing we are not easy to beat. Some of our fans think we should win most if not all these games which is unrealistic. Poch has taken 18 months to get us in a position where the fans actually believe before the game that we are good enough not to lose to anyone, this is progress, give the team time and be patient and we will become a team that wins these drawn games, however that will not be this season. We are heading in the right direction, it aint going to happen over night. Let's just appreciate what we have achieved, we are 5th in the league and have set a record 14 prem games unbeaten. We moan when we used to lose these games and some of us seem to moan when we don't.

Spurs were not at their best yesterday, but point away from home, whoever it is against is not to be sniffed at. In the light of day Spurs result was better on paper than United only drawing at home with West Ham, City losing, Chelsea losing. Leicester had a great result, and Arsenal do what they do best flat-track bully their way to wins against the worse sides in the division.

====================

I accept there's no point moaning just for the sake of it but i dont see how drawing with WBA after being 1-0 up is progress.

Its nice to be able to say "we're unbeaten since X, Y, Z.." but points wise (and progression wise) we'd be better off losing 1 and winning more.

There's still plenty of time to crack on but being 5th isn't progress - its standing still.

Last season we won alot of tight games with late goals. We could do with getting back into that habit as we seem unable to win games in a comfortable 2 goal lead kind of a way.

Amazing the way u copy one line from 15-20 lines to make your point, definaty a wum. If you read the rest then its obvious we are progressing. Its getting beyond boring now. Not going to waste anymore time responding to u if your gonna blatantly be a wum. At least u used to be good at it

Sorry 'Full Back', it was a wonderful performance, every player should get a 10/10 rating, everything is perfect, 5th is where we want to be and long may it continue.

That better?
