Quite.

Personally I think you should always hit a man when he's down - Especially if he wears glasses and he's with his girlfriend.

There's a lot to be said for women and children last as well.

dont understand what these city fans are clutching at tbh. A shame really.

So it's 1912 and you managed to make your way on to the Titanic. Whether it was selling organs on the black market, prostitution, or that little lemonade stand you opened up last summer, you managed to scrape together enough cash to buy a ticket on the maiden voyage of the latest and greatest marvel of technology. The Titanic hits an iceberg, how do you plan to beat the odds and survive Nickalopodis?

By 1912, we'd been going for 32 years and were an established club who had already won the FA Cup.

If any rescue does arrive, it's of the utmost importance the Chelsea fans don't get identified as the guys who were running around fondling passengers and stealing all their stuff, unless they want to go to prison.

Mr Joseph Philippe Lemercier Laroche was the only black passenger aboard Titanic. In March 1912 he discovered that his wife was pregnant, so she and Joseph decided to leave for Haiti before her pregnancy became too far advanced for travel. Joseph's mother in Haiti bought them steamship tickets on the La France as a welcome present, but the line's strict policy regarding children caused them to transfer their booking to the Titanic's second class. On April 10 the Laroche family took the train from Paris to Cherbourg in order to board the brand new liner later that evening.

The Chelsea fans would probably throw any black surviors into the sea.

If the ship had only City fans it would be half empty mate.

I salute him Mr Laroche. A real gentleman.

I think we should all take a moment to remember M. Laroche.

Masabumi Hosono was a Japanese civil servant. He was the only Japanese passenger on the Titanic. He actually survived the ship's sinking but found himself condemned and ostracised by the Japanese public, press and government for his decision to save himself rather than go down with the ship.

It has been said that he was seen to have "betrayed the Samurai spirit of self-sacrifice". Another suggestion, from Jon P. Alston and Isao Takei, is that he was seen as having failed to show the expected conformity and was believed to have selfishly pushed aside other passengers to board the lifeboat.

Hosono no.

1959 - the year the Titanic Relief Fund was wound up (the balance was transferred into annuities or to the Shipwrecked Fishermen and Mariners' Royal Benevolent Society).

He put his pregnant French wife and their two daughters onto a lifeboat; they survived, but he did not.
Sad

The Titanic movie should have been about this guy
