Couldn't see that referee got in the way of the camera
Ron's looked ok - not won a frame in one visit barring the century...but a solid run of 50's
Ronnie pinches a frame after being 70pts down
6-3
Takes it, surprised if I'm honest
Don't be it's Ronnie, I'd like to see him against this seasons top boy Robertson.. But I'm sure Trump/Higgins will have something to say about that..
Ronnie has a great chance on Saturday against either Allen or Hawkins in the semi. Should make the final now.
Allen took the opener but Barry responds, 1-1
Good chance for Barry to win here.
Good win for Barry. Really looking forward to Trump v Robbo this afternoon, hoping for a classic. 6-5 to Robbo I'm going for.
robbo to smash the little shiiit 6-3
Trump one you don't like tino?
nah i genuinely dislike him.....you know when you can't quite put your finger on it but it's there like a niggle
Yep. I saw your comment about him smashing the balls around the table the other day. When I first saw him I took a dislike to that style too.
i think the sport in general is crying out for some players with charisma so he gets built up and that's not his fault entirely...just don't like him...much prefer Robbo and Selby
Think ronnie plays higgins or bingo in the semi. Would like Higgins to get through so as to see the 2 best players of their generation locking horns ,playing well and turning back the clock.
Selby looked totally drained yesterday, grey skinned and under pressure. Clearly meant a lot to him. I like the lad but the playing style is not for me although he proved o'sullivan wrong by winning the world title after ronnie said he didn't have the game to win it.
Ronnie/Higgins v Robbo would be my choice for final.
Yeah it's Ronnie v Higgins/Bingham tomorrow evening. Higgins will give him a good match but I think Ronnie would be after revenge on Bingham after his World Championship exit last April.
yeah Higgin,Ronnie and Williams the last of their generation - speaks volumes that all 3 are still ranked in the top16
considering all 3 turned pro in '92
Excellent careers although I'd have liked to have seen Williams win more of the top three tournaments. Higgins and Ronnie have carried on winning tournaments but Williams seemed to peak early 2000s then not much since.
always seemed to score well when in and amongst the balls did Williams...remember reading when he won the worlds some punter making a fortune on him after betting on him when he was a kid
Sounds about right, remember him being one of the top players when I first started watching snooker. He and Paul Hunter, the latter was brilliant. Only imagine what he'd have achieved Hunter if it wasn't for his terrible illness.
