The reviews are just as hit and miss for Just Cause 3 from what I have read, I'm no expert on the game though it could be worth a go.
Whatever your decision welcome to next gen, the more the merrier

I've had a PS4 for 2 years now I don't game as much as before but from time to time I like to play the odd one.
I bought Battlefront the other day, largely in anticipation of the movie and getting caught up in all things Star Wars. I was aware of the mixed reviews.
Another reason being that I have just bought a new 55" TV and wanted something that would look glorious on it, and it really does. The first training mission flying the X-Wing through the canyons looked amazing.
I haven't gone online yet, only completed the training missions.

You can get the Uncharted Collection on Amazon for £30 right now.
That's £30 for three of the best games ever.
Plus it also includes a code for the Uncharted 4 beta.
All in all, a frickin bargain
I'd never played an Uncharted game, downloaded the demo for the 'collection' last month and played it half way through, for about an hour but couldn't get into it.
I actually thought the story and game itself was good, but really couldn't get used to the way the character handled and moved, it just felt clunky to me, a bit 'early Tomb Raider' like.
It's a shame though, because as you say £30 for three highly rated full games is a great buy.
I picked up The Last of Us Remastered for PS4 last night for £18 from Tesco (never played it on PS3) and will play it through over Christmas when I break up from work, looking forward to trying it out.
Mata
From the look of it Just Cause 3 has been slated for poor storyline narrative - something that dosent put me off as the previous one wasnt a good storyline to follow- I just enjoyed doing my own thing in the open world (Performance issues are also mentioned for the PC version but if you are getting this on PS4 this isnt something that will bother you).
Battlefront was more of a disappointment for me as graphically its great, the sound is amazing too, I just thought there should be more to the game I bought.
Cheers Ezio, is there any multiplayer modes with it? I'm actually considering buying it now, can't see any other decent games for me right now.
Mata as with most things I would ask what type of things you like. If you just wanna blow stuff up in a sandbox Just Cause may certainly be the game you want, if you want something similar but a bit more engaging then maybe GTA V if you havent played it. Battlefront is certainly up there if you like MP shooters, again will depend how serious you are, a more serious option would be Raindbow Six. Keep an eye on the 12 deals of christmas as these are pretty good as well. Quick in and outs I would say Rocket League is prob best in class.
Just to counter Ezio a little, there have been complaints of horrendus loading times in the PS4 version, but overall performances is excellent. Also if you fancy something sort of similar and you havent played the excellent Tomb raider is certainly worthy 15-20hours of your time.
Simon, I'm into games similar to Last of Us. I like the singe player type characters with a big action storyline, and then a bit of multiplayer after the campaigns are done.
Got JC3 the other day but haven't had too much time with it.
Seems like a pretty fun game though, it's a bit over the top in what you can do, your basically a superhero, but I think that adds to the fun rather than takes away.
Not a contender for GOTY or anything like that, but can see myself sinking quite a few hours on it just taking over bases and messing about.
Battlefront, meh. If you play COD/BF multiplayer and like Star Wars you might enjoy it but I just don't have a reason to play it after the first few hours
The Last Of Us oozes quality, the story voice acting and the motion capture even the graphics stand up well on next gen all go to show the high production values put into this game and why for many it is the best game ever made.
But if you go in expecting some kind of shooting fest look elsewhere, yes there is plenty of killing in this game but it is all at a steady pace and is more thoughtful than simply blasting anything that moves.
The game slowly draws you in with the character development both believable and beautifully acted.
For the price it's a bargain especially if you something more than a simple shooter.
I've already played and completed Last of Us, it's certainly one of the best games I've ever played. Felt a bit like a film at times too which made it better.
Have you played alien isolation yet Mata? Oozes atmosphere and genuinely scary!
Nah I haven't, might take a look at it.
Single player big action story, then top of my list would be Tomb Raider, followed by GTA V. Then Farcry 4, Borderlands and Diablo 3 are all excellent games, the latter 2 amazing couch coops.
Fallout 4, MGS V, Bloodborne, and Witcher 3 are all amazing games but you need to like them, but all fit within your criteria.
Farcry 4 very underrated imo, class game. One of my favourites on PS4
Heard that just cause 3 suffers from performance issues on the PS4 just as much as the pc, to the point that it's a game breaker. I'd be wary if I were you, read some more reviews!
Far cry is my favourite game on the ps4. It's brilliant. Definitely consider it as an alternative to just cause.
Also, totally agree with Mike. Played unchartered drakes deception and gave up after a couple of hours. Could not enjoy the gameplay at all, so clunky!!

your kid might love it, but its just not very good. Play 1 or 2 online games and I get bored. But kids are obviously more easily entertained!

think that is the only time, anywhere, I have heard uncharted classed as clunky...sort it out Mike

Disagree there nick, 1 and 2 are certainly clunky in relation to the newer games in a similar genre, but that's cos there almost 10 years old. All reviewers complained the controls weren't updated to at least uc3, and the demo of 2 is OK but uc3 and tomb raider are much tighter
