I love the Mos Eisley Cantina in Star Wars (who doesn't?), the battle on Hoth in Empire and Luke's visit to Jabba's palace in Jedi.

I also think The Revenge of the Sith is really good after Anakin's turn to the dark side. Far better than the first two (which I thought were OK, personally, if not great).

Snow battle in Empire is brilliant, and for me Empire strikes back is bay far the best Star Wars movie yet.

George Lucas is a great producer but a poor writer / director, he's got amazing ideas but really needs other people to actually put them on screen.

Haven't bothered booking tickets to it yet I'll wait for the chaos of the next 10 days to die down and go then when the cinema won't be so packed.

It's got a great director in JJ and everything I've seen so far makes it look savage so really looking forward to it.

What you dressing up as Robb? My guess is you're similar to a Jawa.

Did you even think they were oK CLockwork??

God I hated them first two, especially the second one.

The 3rd one had some decent scenes but still was very poor for me, some of the dialogue is just tragic and I think the casting was poor for too many of the roles in episodes 1-3.

Obviously I'm a Han Solo kinda guy.

Fellaini said he loved me. I said 'I know'

I'm seeing it at 12:50pm tomorrow, but New Zealand time makes that around 10 mins before the midnight screening back home I think.

Wanted to go to a midnight showing but Mrs wouldn't, should have just gone by myself - probably won't sleep tonight

LVG?lol

No way Robb you're a Jawa or at best Greedo, like if we sat at a table people would debate who shot first for generations but you'll be dead and I'll be off flying the falcon.

Favorite lines from Star Wars?

I Love "That's no Moon" So simple but great timing and it means so much to how the movie progresses from that point.

But my favorite is Luke's very first line

"But I wanted to go to Toshi Station to pick up some power converters" Use this all the time in real life, it's great when someone gets it but so many people are just plain stupid and don't.

The Phantom Menace: Not bad, not brilliant, convoluted plot. Some good locations.

Attack of the Clones: I liked the start, where they are protecting the queen from terrorists, but after that I remember there being too many silly one-liners and it felt a bit light-hearted at times.

The Revenge of the Sith: Some very cheesy dialogue between Anakin and Padme but, as I said, when Anakin turns the film grows in power and intensity and finishes well. By far the best of the three.

I really only enjoyed the, in fairness amazing, final fight scene in Phantom menace, that is brilliant and the music to go with it is perfect.

I hated Clones, there si this scene in a meadow where Anakin and Natalie Portman just say I love you over and over again for ages.

Thought the kid who plays Anakin and that Christensen fella were both poor choices and not good actors, the pod race in Phantom is ruined by stupid lines from that kid.

The Phantom Menace: should have been so much better... Maul was badly underused, the kid was awful ruining the pod race and the space battle at the finish... Jar Jar bloody binks

Attack of the Clones: mixed bag... the romance was awful, really poorly done... but the jedi arena battle at the end, yoda's fight with Dooku were excellent

The Revenge of the Sith: Best of the prequels by a mile... epic fight scenes... dark moods... ruined by the "nooooooo" from Vader at the end

ruined by the "nooooooo" from Vader at the end

Yeah that is so bad and totally ruined the movie for me, he's like fecking Frankenstien or something just awful.

I actually cracked up laughing in the cinema when that happened and got loads of funny looks to which I replied come on that's f'ing shíííííít

I remember that scream by Vader. What were they thinking?

Going to the midnight screening here in NZ. Which is in exactly 2 hours. So excited.

The originals are amazing, in particular Empire.

The prequels are woeful, 3 isn't that bad but is ruined by Anakins "turn" to the darkside which went something like this.

Palpatine "Anakin turn to the darkside and fulfil your potential!"

Anakin "Never!"

Palpatine "But....come on?"

Anakin "Oh go on then"

Palpatine "Goooooood, now slaughter hundreds of children"

Anakin "Yes master"

Just woeful.

I've not seen Sith for ages but that seems harsh. Isn't there quite a lot about Anakin losing faith with the Jedi?

I thinks it's Hayden Christensen that's the problem with Sith and his change to the dark side, he's not a good actor and tries too hard to show emotions which just make it look unnatural.

Legendary line and Luke's hair in the scene is tremendous

"I can not teach him, the boy has no patience" - always been one of my favourite scenes.

Really looking forward to this, tickets booked for tomorrow. The Mrs seems a bit freaked out by how excited I am. I'm not really a syfy kind of fella but Star Wars is the big exception. She's beginning to wonder what she married!

Just hope it's better than the prequels. Phantom was terrible and only partly redeemed by Darth Maul who was a great character. Clones was just horrible and Sith I actually enjoyed more than I should have done I think. Loved the opening scenes when Anakin took down Dooku and I really liked the final fight culminating in the "you were the chosen one" scene. Then they ballsed the whole thing up with the "noooooo"!

Taking my lad to see it on Friday, can't wait.

My favourite line from the originals was from obi wan "who is the more foolish, the fool or the fool that follows him".

Prequels were pants Lucas very nearly ruined the franchise but I'm pretty sure the $4.5 Billion he received from Disney softened the blow.
