Sound as if Clarke is definitely on his way out, news just in from Swindon Advertiser. Can't see the whole incident is down to him, our fitness coach has hardly been mentioned by the media although it all started after he had words with Clarke. Paolo is taking a lot of unfair flak considering he was the peace maker, what we don't know is what happened off camera ! It has been reported Leon was asked to stay away from today's training session which is quite ironic as thats what started it all ! I'm still convinced our fortunes will change for the better and still looking forward to the game Saturday. At least the attendance will be better with all the media in town !!
Notts with you talking about media attention, I just remembered the Rotherham game is a 12:15 kick off because its on Sky guranted there will be a camera on Di Canio for the entire game. I have watched the video many times and I cannot blame Paolo he tried to calm the situation down, he tried to take him down the tunnel so the cameras wouldn't catch what happened. Got a feeling Clarke didn't do his research and didn't realise Di Canio and his staff have a big thing about fitness, think the only thing Clarke realised was that he was going to become Swindon's highest payed player and thought league two would be a walk in the park.
Paolo is so passionate i can't see him changing his match day attitude to appease the sky cameras. I'm sure he will be feeling some extra pressure after the last few days but he has been around long enough to hopefully deal with it. Hope the team show their backing for him and put in a match winning performance .
