they got 20m for henderson + n'gog didn't they?
wes brown to sunderland is prettly likely, gibson on loan is a possibility but i think SAF would rather keep him as backup, same with welbeck.
n'gog is an absolute liability and has absolutely no bearing in the transfer deal at all other than for liverpool to get him off their wage bill.
Sky said it was £16M + N'Gog. They also said Sunderland are going to spend most of that money on Brown, Gibson and a 3rd Man United player. I'd be gutted if I was a Sunderland fan. Ok, £16M for Henderson is really good money but N'Gog as a makeweight and £12M for Brown, Gibson and Welbeck?!?!?
Last player is Oshea, I thought it would be welbeck.
We wont sell oshea but we will the other two. Depends if thwey wanna go. Be happy to see brown and gibson sold tbh.
Hope we don't sell welbeck.
I'll drive Gibson to sunderland myself.
Surely there's no way we'll sell Welbeck. Fergie rates him very highly.
I'd be gutted if I was a Sunderland fan.
==========================================
i'd be delighted if i'd got that much off pool for a player who only had 1/2 a good season of prem football. the consensus is that liverpool have massively overpaid again.
i'm sure sunderland are quite happily saying they'll buy gibson and welbeck, but i doubt they'll get the 3 for just 16m. wes brown - deffo, i think the other 2 will stay at united.
Ngog could really thrive at Sunderland.
He'll get the one thing he needs - a run of games.
Ngog could really thrive at Sunderland.

lets be honest.
n'gog isn't going to get better playing the same teams in the same league for a weaker side.
i can see him being shipped back to france for a few million next summer.
"Ngog could really thrive at Sunderland."
Doubt it. He's awful.
"i'd be delighted if i'd got that much off pool for a player who only had 1/2 a good season of prem football. the consensus is that liverpool have massively overpaid again."
That's true but to then go out and spend that money on average players would be pretty depressing. It would be like Arsenal selling Fabregas and replacing him with 3 ordinary players like Parker, Cahill and Samba.
RE welbeck, talneted kid, but if sunderland stump up 15 million for him I can see him leaving.
Rather we keep welbeck than macheda.
As would I. I think we will sell macheda soon. After his disaterous loan spell not sure we will be able to command large enough fee.
12 million for the 3 we are letting go is very cheap I think.
are Liverpool going to pay the money directly to United's account or will it go via Sundlerland's ? Either way , cheers lads, we will put it in the Alexis Sanchez fund.
Sanchez is going to barcelona.
"12 million for the 3 we are letting go is very cheap I think."
Is it? Considering Wes Brown's age, contract and injury problems, he surely isn't worth any more than £1M. Gibson is worth around £4M, £5M tops. That would leave around £7M-£8M for Welbeck. I know he is talented and has potential but he has only scored a handful of goals in a season at Sunderland and a big part of that was due to missing a good few months through injury. I think £12M for those 3 players is a fair offer.
As for SAF rating Welbeck highly, does he rate him any higher than Rooney, Hernandez or Berbatov? Why give Owen a 1 year contract extension if he is going to hang onto Welbeck?
Sanchez agreed terms with Barca but as far as I know, no deal between the clubs. Inter also say they have a deal in place so lets see.

So, Liverpool win you lot the league by beating Arsenal and now we're paying for your players? You mancs really are obsessed!
We won the league by nine points. And as far as I remember you drew with Arsenal (twice) . And the Henderson money is heading to Old Trafford by the look of it.

What a load of balls. You never beat us!
My mistake, I meant draw. Even so, the point still stands.
agreed Batman. I guess I must be obsessed if I know their results better than they do.

i didn't realise arsenal came 2nd?
i think a number of clubs plus their own mentality did for them.

Don't suppose you were on 606 the day Kuyt equalized in the last minute against Arsenal then? More articles on our board about winning them league than praise of their own team.
Batman if it was welbeck it would be 15 minimum, price you pay for english potential.
