Hopefully Hiddink comes in and does a job, even if it's not a spectacular one because quite frankly at this stage it doesn't even need to be. We just need to get away from this relegation zone and then hopefully a comfortable top half finish, hopefully a Europa spot as well as that's better than nothing.

At the same time we have a right to be slight weary about Hiddink based on his recent stints as international manager and the fact that that he is now nearly 70 as opposed to being in his early 60's which he was in his first stint.

There's also the fact that this Chelsea side and Hiddink 's former Chelsea side are two different animals. That was a great side packed with leaders whereas this side isn't either of those things even if they did win the title last season.

Hiddink undoubtedly has his work cut out with this lot so I just hope that he has enough left in the tank for it

Haha well spotted harlequin. I'm wary although I'm hoping that I don't become weary because if that happens then we could be playing Championship football next season.

I think Chelsea will be even worse if they appoint Guus Huddink.

A lot of respect for Guus Hiddink

Hiddink is older and on the way out.

Maybe Brendan Rodgers or Gus Poyet. to steady the ship and bring some love back into the dressing room.

Age is just a number when it comes to management.
Heynckes won the treble at Bayern at 68, after winning nothing significant since the 90's.
Of course they had more depth and quality but you get my point.
