Stamford the lion in charge today with Eva as assistant
Just hope they pick Remy.
Courtois
Azpi Zouma Terry Baba
Matic Ruben
Willian Pedro Kenedy
Remy
Would be my team
Spot on superb. If Ivan is anywhere near this team my season ticket might end up on the pitch
Ok lets be realistic guys. Guus is not gna jeopardise the teams chances of winning points just to prove a point to the players who may have had a hand in getting Jose the sack. Hazard wil play. Costa too.
Mr C my team was picked purely on form, nothing to do with Jose.
Costa has no place in this side, he's been utterly awful and has only scored 7 goals in the last year which is actually even worse than anything Torres ever did at Chelsea even in his very worst periods.
We need goals and in order to facilitate that we need strikers who can score them which is why Remy is in my team and not Costa.
Hazard, Fabregas and Oscar have also been awful this season which us why none of them get into my team today either
Courtois
Azpi Zouma Terry Rahman
Fabregas Matic
Willian Pedro Kenedy
Remy
You can't start players with limited passing(Ramires and Loftus-Cheek), if you intend to break down deep defences.
Happened against Leicester and we struggled to create until Fabregas came on.
I agree that Ramires has limited passing but Loftus-Cheek certainly doesn't.
What has Loftus-Cheek shown to prove otherwise?
At lower levels would rather lay the ball off to someone that can provide the creativity and incisive passes from deep. Plays with very little risk.
Main asset is his box to box ability and even those runs are few and far between.
Never seen such a youth player shirk responsibility but yet somehow be heralded as the best we have at the academy.
Boga, Swift, Musonda, Colkett, Baker, Solanke, Christensen, these guys are more deserving of first team opportunities from the academy.
Holland picks the team
I like to see Falcao on for a change. (if hes fit)
I agree that we have some other good ones in the academy. Baker and Swift are two that I've been hoping for ages will get given a chance.
But Loftus-Cheek has bags of ability although we haven't seen it yet in his limited first team appearances. I think that José has to take some blame for that because the shackles have been on and Ruben's been playing in fear of making a mistake it seems.
He needs game time in the first 11 and I'm hoping that Hiddink with his different football philosophy will give him some or at least more than José did as he is a top player and we're in danger of losing him if we don't.
Just hope one of Mourinho's best player - Willian doesnt fade.
We know he was signed simply becasue he is brilliant in the cold winter months as he had lots of experience with former club Shakhtar.
Hiddink has worked with Willian at Anzhi and was fruitful.

His pass to Kenedy against Walsall was pretty accomplished. Almost a mirror image of the sublime pass Fabregas made to Schurrle for that goal against Burnley last season.
I admit he might not have a quality of passing at the same levels as most of the players you mentioned but to call him completely devoid of passing ability is rubbish.
I think a lot of fans will begin to realise how much Jose made us play with the handbrake on this season. Many players were playing within themselves and playing it safe (RLC being one of them). With a bit of freedom they might just surprise one or two of you...
Except for that fact that it's not just under Jose...I mentioned at lower academy level plays it safe and that's the level where youth players are supposed to express to the maximum with more freedom.
Caution ,Fear ,equals =handbrake !
Also limited passing doesn't mean non-existent.
Ok with short unrisky passes.

I know you don't like RLC as a player but the way you're making it sound as if he accomplished absolutely nothing at youth team level is ridiculous.
I watched him a fair few times and yes, he does seem to be a bit reserved (almost languid at times). But he has ability in spades, whether its bursting players like they're not even there (very much in the Toure mold) or using clever footwork to get out of tight situations. He also has a very decent eye for a pass if the opportunity arises
I'll accept that there were players better than him that are probably more deserving of a chance (Boga and Musonda especially). But the guy already has the physicality and the technical ability to be playing a fairly considerable role for Chelsea.
It's easy forget that we have an insanely talented crop of youth players at the moment and pretty much any of them could do a job for Chelsea right now. Not all of them will get the chance to so we should at least try and support those that do.
Not about liking or disliking.
For the record, I don't dislike Loftus-Cheek.
Simply translating what I see every time he takes to the pitch.
Bystander, whilst others are imposing/exerting their authority/talent on pitch to the max.
I've said in the past has the physique but not the application, as far as I'm concerned.
Agree with cmf in the limited amount I've seen of rlc. He's a bit of a passenger.

I'm pretty sure that Loftus-Cheek has excelled at the lower levels which is exactly why we've all been talking and raving about him the last couple of years and why he's now in the first team squad.
He needs to be given an actual chance otherwise he'll be off because he will excel at another PL club, quite possibly a top one as well.
