They are certainly in the title race and will at worst, get top 4.
Too early to tell yet. The table will even itself out over the next few games and then we'll see.
It's brilliant what they've done and they've done it playing some good football. The very reason this stat exists is why no one can claim that they definitely won't win the title.
Long way yet, hamstring injury to Vardy can be all it takes...
They do seem like the type of players that would react to a loss anyway.
Some guy had a £5 bet on Leicester being top at Xmas. 1000/1 odds.
I hope they do well - my in laws are from Leicester and season ticket holders from championship days.
Soft spot for them.
Not at the expense of the teams we support though, surely!
It is great seeing an unexpected team, not just up there, but right at the summit. I just hope it doesn't last though.
If it does, I'll be among the first to congratulate them, but I won't for one minute be wishing that it does happen. For obvious reasons.
I think Leicester fans can look at how well they finished last season to suggest they at least have it in them to do something similar this season if they need to.
I know Ranieri gets them playing a higher pressing game so fatigue could kick in but who know what can happen. They need a bit of luck and the injry to Vardy is clearly a set back.
Ditto cleverson. I go a few times every season and was at the Coca Cola cup final when they played Middlesbrough, I would love them to do it.
"Some guy had a £5 bet on Leicester being top at Xmas. 1000/1 odds."
He put £100 pound on it.
Ripley, the romantic in me wouldn't mind it that much to be honest!
A fighting second would be better though, I agree!
People who don't watch them think it's all Vardy and Mahrez.
The likes of Kante and Albrighton have been immense as well as Fuchs. Such a good bunch of players.
And it's not like they have some jabroni as a manager. They have a guy who's won trophies in other countries before.

I got to quite a few games in the 12/13 season and they looked close then. Pearson did some good work - those owners are shrewd business men and if they finish top4 they will splash the cash. They are very rich.
It'll be fanstastic for the league too!
Yeah, they've done it well, bringing back Pearson was the catalyst. To change manager and keep the run going is incredible really, their squad has a lot of balance to it.
I can't see them not getting top 4 at the least. They don't have any European football unlike those around them, and could very easily lose to Spurs in the FA Cup, leading to a free run at the league. They're already 9 points from 5th as it stands.
Leicester players will likely be sitting back in their 115 inch 4K oled TV's watching Arsenal and City taking lumps off each other on Monday
Oh to be a footballer.

+1 for use of the rarely seen "jabroni"
Melts, balls to that romantic stuff.
I only want that kind of stuff to happen when we have no interest in the outcome.
And I'll be honest - it took us 100's of millions to challenge and succeed at the top. Should Leicester win it, then all the arguments I've had about our spend over the years will fly out the window!!!
There's always an exception to every rule Ripley
The argument is still valid unless Leicester continue for a few seasons and solidify their position in the top four. Top eight, they have a chance. I highly doubt top four though.
If we can't win the Prem, I hope Leicester do. The regular top 4 teams haven't done anything special this season, between us and City, we're handing over the league on a silver platter anyway, so why not an exciting team that SCORES GOALS to shake up the stagnant rot that the Prem's become.
Ok ok melton, I'm convinced. I hope Leicester win the league!
Hang on...
I said top four in the op to be fair Ripley!
Every team who have been top at this point of the season has gone onto finish at least 4th, I hope they do it personally.
They've no right to be top, they haven't spent a fortune on players.
This Everton game was the test for me. A really tricky game and one that they could easily have tripped up on.
But winning it convinced me they are certainly the real deal.
