Lamela - 7.5 One of the hardest workers in the prem. Never gives his opponent a second on the ball. Some nice skills and touches.

chicken will be along shortly to say that we won despite lamela, as teacher's pet cannot possibly ever have a positive contribution to the team.

what an utter plank chicken is

Agree with everything except Dembele.

He was an 8 and my MoM

Didn't have a good enough stream to mark them but D.A sounded top quality

He's a certified belllend though Chronic. It's quite clear he says what he says in order to get a reaction. Lonely and pathetic child, probably neglected since birth.

Aside from that, I didn't watch the game, but that's a pretty good result after the last few weeks poor return. Taken advantage of Man United and Everton dropping points.

Chronic, chicken would say Lamela was rubbish even if he scored 10 hatricks in a row. Lamela has been excellent this season and the only person who can't see it is chicken. Mr Townsend supporter, speaks volumes

Thought Hugo deserves an 8, he made two excellent saves that few goalkeepers can.

Dembele also an 8

Dembele now is undroppable

The whole team put in a great shift as ever for a side under MoPo

Above those £250million spenders Mancs at Xmas

Can't ask for more

Yeah Lamela was good ,his persistence played a part in Kanes goal and again creating a chance for Carol.

Pretty much spot on with the ratings.

Lamela is getting so much better with time

His tracking back is what brings pleasure and would bring pleasure to any manager/fans.

He also closed down their defenders, causing them to go direct and lose possession.

But Dembele was the BOSS in the middle of the park.

Gliding and floating, linking between attack and defense

He just needs to add goals now to his bow

We need to buy another striker come January.

Full Stop. No ifs or buts. Relying solely on Kane is taking a punt.

I love Lamela`s work rate, he always puts in a shift and he has now stopped trying too hard, hence the improvement

Look at that Davies plays we keep a clean sheet .

I watched the whole game, and a good solid performance without being outstanding. Lloris made a couple of blinding saves, and the team worked harder today than against Newcastle last week. Good comeback after last week`s mare.

Sandy, I know Norwich got an excellent result today but you would think 3 points is on the cards in our next game at home to them. Tough away game against watford after but if we can get 6 more points before the new year then brilliant.

Morning guys! Just logged not get the result & delighted to see when put last weeks result behind us.

Remember seeing in a post during the week that Dele needs resting, from some of your comments today he was obviously one of our best players today.

He is young and should be able to cope comfortably with playing every week.

Also pleased that both Erik & Christian played well, Erik is starting to show why we paid a record fee for him, although we all know he is not as good as Andros, is he??

As for Mr Eriksen, he has had a few quiet periods so far this season, but we all know he is a quality player and when he is on song he is top class.

Now all we need to do is stay in 4th place minimum for rest of season. No sign of Leicester dropping away is there???

I would like to think Spurs would take six points from Norwich and Watford, and then that would make up for the Newcastle disaster, but we all know Spurs don`t work to that sort of script. However we have to live in hope. Spurs usually do pretty well over the Xmas period so here`s hoping.

Nice description of the game, Arg. First game I missed live on internet tv this season (was in a police cell in northeast Thailand and just got home). Saw the result just now on bbc site then came straight here. Gonna wait for MOTD now. Really well worded and sounds like the lads put in a proppa shift.

Chronic,

chicken will be along shortly to say that we won despite lamela, as teacher's pet cannot possibly ever have a positive contribution to the team.

===================

What Chicken will say is, Lamela was the worst player out there again and nowhere near deserves a 7.5/10.

Even the morning papers rated him as just 6/10. So yet again, my judgment matches the neutral sports journalist and optima stats.

Just saying..
