Spurcat

Great to hear a full report, how did Gomelt look? I haven't heard that much about him.

As for mini Drogba, well alot has been said about him, has his visa been approved?

Spurcat you truly are a legend. Were you at the game or did you manage to watch it somewhere? You've got me very excited about Coulibaly. I'm also very hopeful for Luongo and think he'll make a very good midfielder one day.

Brilliant.

THuddy

Well as I say mate, he had 3 shots and planted all 3 of them in the back of the net. I don't know much about him but he was certainly timing his runs into the box well. I was gutted when he got sent off as he was clearly going to rip Milan apart.

Great report Spurcat, thanks

...as S.Mouse said, where did you get to see the game?

S. Mouse - I was there along with about 350 others. Great entertainmet it was too and I reckon the first 45 minutes display from Spurs was as good as you wish to see from a Spurs side at any level.

Were the Milan boys that bad? or were we that good?

I know they like to place alot of emphasis on the defending aspect at that level

I read that Coulibaly, Pritchard and Gomelt were played as in interchanging front 3, was this the case? If so it clearly worked very well.

THuddy - We were that good. This Coulibaly fella really unsettled them from the start. He's direct, he's lightening fast and he is as strong as a bloody ox. He rides tackles, he chases lost causes and gets something out of them. Having seen him today, I will be really disapointed if Harry doesn't give him a go in maybe the Carling Cup or maybe one of the Europa games.

Being 16 he would be a raw talent, unknown and untested at this level, I think its time that the young lads get given a chance

If Rooney can perform at 16 there is no reason as to why Coulibaly can't get a run out!

Do you know when they are playing next Spurcat? and if you can just turn upto watch them? or is it invite only?

Thuddy - It's pay on the gate at Orient and today was £5 I think the fixture list is on the OS.

S. Mouse - we had Coulibaly and Laste Dombaxe up front with Gomelt out on the left.

Nice to hear Spurcat

Weren't Inter "over the hill" like the last time we beat them?

Sounds promising for Gomelt (never heard of him before today!) and Coulibaly. Sadly I think they are just too young to see any first team action for us yet

Thanks for the match report Spurcat

Does this mean Coulibaly is eligible to play in the league?

posted on 31/8/11

he better be - we may well need him!

Bales left boot - I don't know if it was a work permit or a visa which delayed him, but whatever, it's now been resolved.

so he IS available for the first team if selected?!

sounds like a beast spurcat?!

maybe that mini drogba name is very apt.....

The RDBD finishes with his client in a couple of weeks (and begins a 3 month hibernation) .

With that in mind, and my disgust at ratboy etc, I think I'll go and see as many of these home games as I can before back to work again.

Perhaps ratboy will also be there, to remind him of those who would kill to play in the first 11 for a fraction of his current wages.

THudd :

Oct 19: Tottenham v PSV
Nov 23: Tottenham v Basle

If the first two were at the Os,I assume these will be too ??

i reckon the plan is for coulibaly to take over from Ade next season. can see him getting some prem bench time by the end of the season.

I hope Redknapp don't F up the cup competitions.

I really want all these kids to get as much playing time with as much of the '25' as possible, while the best 11 get on with the PL business.

yeah, all home games at the o's.
