They only beat them 2-1 at home.

We beat City 4-1 at their own stadium.

Waiting for the January wheels to fall off again

Wenger the specialist in failure. Will never win big ears and only participates to make up the numbers

The league isn't over until May, Liverpool should remeber that more than most say they slipped up last time they celebrated too soon and started kissing cameras and giving speeches out.

The fans are even worse for believing the same sh*t every year.

Well, this is awkward. Didn't know Carragher was an Arsenal fan....

Arsenal look stronger this season than they have in years, have more depth in the squad, more experience of winning (2 FA cups on the bounce) have one of the best players in the league this year in Ozil and Giroud is scoring goals like clockwork at the moment.

All good signs that they have a serious chance of the title this season. Yes they may fall apart but they look far better equipped to deal with injuries etc this season than they have in a long time.

Some of their fans might be annoying (like all clubs) but they're a great side and very good to watch.

Why are fans so wound up

Eat sleep get 4th repeat.....Is there a special panel that managed to swap ours and United last seasons finish or are silly fans rewriting scripts?

Another meltdown in February?
Have a look at the league table for this calendar year 2015 which includes our strong 2nd half of last season (Jan-May) before you speak such nonsense.

Typical Arsenal will bottle it and end up 4th, it happens every year you say?
How's that title challenge you guys are so used to going by the way?

I was having a laugh you sensitive lot.

Beingf serious though I have said for a long time that I think Wenger is no longer a winner. He does not sign players with that winning mentality and I think the players are too lightweight hence all the injuries you get which is why I will stick with my prediction that City will win the league.

Won as much as any managerin England over the last two years.

Cech and Alexis suggest otherwise!

Alexis sat on the bench and was happy to do so at Barca. Not much winning mentality in those actions.

Started 27 of 36 La Liga games in his last season at Barca

Don't let facts get in the way of a good argument though, T-bone

*36 games he was available for. He was unavailable for 2 due to representing his country - the country this player with no winning mentality helped to win the Copa America this summer.

Don't think we'll bottle it. We don't have those type of players these days. A lot of our players have won big trophies in their careers, and have experience of playing in big games. Before we used to play with very inexperienced players.

If we drop away probably be because of injuries and faliure to buy in back up in January. If we keep our key players fit, we have a great chance at winning the league.

But I'm certainly not thinking we are going to win it yet, theres A long way to go, anything can happen. But to believe it's inevitable we will bottle it, is a bit of a simple and niaeve view of this team. It's that view that will probably favour Arsenal. I'd rather opposition teams think we'll bottle it, than take us serious as potential title winners
