Hey Tino, can't believe you don't know this game, I have'nt played it but I know you build space craft and whatever, that are just as likely to blow up on the launch pad than get into space.
I'm a spacey sort of guy and like creating things, so for me a match made in heaven
you all set for christmas bro?
Yeah pretty much thanks Tino, can't say I did a lot, left it to the Mrs, all I did was get the decorations out the loft
still get an assist for that
What you playing on your brand new PS4 Tino?
erm mainly Star Wars Battlefront...although a lad I work with has DriveClub so it keeps coming up his best times for every event I play through meaning my competitive streak keeps kicking in
one track he was 5 seconds quicker than me....I played that track about 15 times so that I could beat him...the old days I'd have just gone to the next event
How dare the fooker beat your time
It does get competitive.
the PS4 is a snitch though......
you watched netflix 8 times
you played star wars 6 times
you played fifa 16 2 times
you played drive club 9 times
feck off Sony you're not me mum

Yep, bought it before it was even on Steam over three years ago. No idea how many hours I've put into it but it's a lot. Quite possibly my favourite ever game. So many possibilities and challenges to set for yourself. Great difficulty curve; no matter how good you think you are there's always new places to go and things to try. Your first few hours will solely be spent blowing things up, which is far more fun than frustrating. Recently I've been largely ignoring space and just been making interesting planes.
Graphics aren't up to much but it's still a stunning looking game when you're landed on the Mun at dusk and an illuminated Kerbin begins to rise between one of the valleys.
However it is a game that benefits greatly from its modding community, so I think PS4 users would be missing out on a decent part of the experience. Personally I don't understand why anyone would buy a game like this on a console over PC. The interface is going to be a lot more difficult on a controller and the mods add so much. You don't even need a good PC if you turn the settings down.
There's a demo on Steam and through their website, although it is almost 2 years old and there have been significant improvements since then. It's still definitely worth a go.
Umm, I dont have a PC, so PS4 by default i'm afraid.
But like you said a lot to enjoy in this game.
That's probably a good enough reason to not play it on PC.
Not having a PC though? How else do you get nudey women to appear in your house?
I use a mac, but it's only for the homework ect and of course this place.
Well it does work on a Mac too. It could certainly be classed as an educational program as you do need to learn orbital mechanics in order to play the game.
Yes, but It would only be used by me as I'm sure my two daughters would not have the slightest interest and to me it's a game.
Plus I like the comfort of the living room and a large TV, so PS4 still works for me.
Are the mods available for the Mac too?
Yeah, as far as I know the Mac doesn't suffer at all compared to the PC version. Can't install mods on the demo though. The full game is currently 40% off on Steam's winter sale but fair enough if you just like the bigger screen and comfort of a sofa. I can't really get into action games on the PC.
I'm interested to see how the console versions will work out. The Wii U seems the obvious winner due to the pad, whilst the Xbone will suffer from no touchpad at all.
I downloaded the demo version a while back.
I didn't really spend a lot of time on it, however it could tell it's the sort of game that is really get into of I dedicated the time to it and actually looked into it instead of just trying to figure out how quickly I could crash things into the ground at Mach 3.
Don't worry, I've been playing for three years and still enjoy seeing how fast I can smash stuff into the ground.
