well i don't think he really cared that much about who was his club assistant doctor. he certainly went on about it for so long that i assume there was a bigger point to it than that (unless he really was losing his marbles).
I have to admit, I thought the eye poke was pretty awful behaviour from a professional football manager at the time.

Still alive or not the poke was disgusting. The fact he was later diagnosed changed nothing. Also nice try picking on my name to get away from the ridiculous notion that it is all tabloid stuff.

don't talk drivel.
since you've dropped in from another board to stink the place out you should know that there are a bunch of united fans in favour of jose, and a bunch against (with two main issues, his style of play and his character).
i have much less of an issue with both than some fans. poking someone in the eye isn't great, but we're not in marlon king/lee bowyer territory. cantona assaulted a fan and is still a legend at united; suarez bit a player (3 times) and is still a legend at liverpool.
fans can't pick and choose which distasteful behaviour they overlook just because the prefer player A to player B.
what your drivel about a masterplan relates to i have no idea, i have never even hinted at anything along those lives, it all seems to exist in your fevered imagination.

We've ran our managerial choices rather poorly since SAF,which is a million miles away from what the United people said when SAF would finally call it a day.Appointing Mourinho would be the cherry on top of a period of embarrassing management.

i certainly understand why people are against it, yes. i do think jose's incidents are blown up a little by everyone, partly because he has always courted media attention, so when you mess up you can't complain about people taking an interest.
so i do get it, yep. but the guy is a winner, and the fact that the brains trust from the arsenal board are showing such an interest is presumably because they would fear united more under jose than under lvg, rather than them being on a moral crusade to stamp out unpleasant behaviour from football.
