I think you Rams lot are more concerned with the embargo than we are. I don't give two stuffs about it. Seem to be doing OK with it and at least it stops the price of every player we are linked going through the roof - and keeps wages in check.

I think quite simply the 2 clubs are poles apart. One could not be in a better place and 'state'. The other, well..

Not sure why Forest fans don't care that they're under an embargo? I'd like to think that Derby fans would be a bit more vocal in demanding better management of their club as opposed to #Fawazisourleader

It's not that we don't care 2W, it's just that we've been under the embargo for a while now so this is old news. We've known for a while it would last the season. You have to take the positives and not paying silly money for players and using loans and youth players are good for the club. We're content with the progress the club is making right now so as much as some Derby fans would like to gloat about this, it's just not a big deal.

That's not to say it won't harm us as we can't go out and replace our LB and this could seriously derail us. And yeah Baz is right about putting on a brave face.

I know the banter between fans is all about one up-manship but not sure I'd put saving face over saving the club.

Maybe you guys are having these conversations in private away from us obsessed sheep or maybe it's just fan based Stockholm Syndrome, but from the outside it feels like your fanbase is a bit 'Canadian' about it all.

A lot of the Forest fans I spoke to were thinking they'd be out of the embargo by Christmas due to the sale of Antonio....maybe I just attract the naive ones though.

I think that's why us Sheep probably go on about it so much, we're like your chairman is a nutter....and then it feels like you lot just come back with 'no he isn't'.

Embargo is one thing, Fawaz is completely different. We're stuck with that nutter and no doubt he'll get us in more trouble again. All we can do is hope he learns from his lessons but I'm not holding my breath. The thing with Fawaz is that he clearly wants to do well for Forest but doesn't seem to have the mental capacity to make the right decisions. If fans hated him then perhaps there would be more protests. It's difficult to dislike someone who loves you even if they are ruining your life!

Lansbury was almost off in the summer, the better players should be touting themselves round to the highest bidder because they won't get promoted and the pay rise that goes with it. If they've got ambition they should want out of Forest.

Yeah but Lans got a pay rise when he decided not to go to Burnley and probably some other sweeteners too. Can't see him leaving in Jan but maybe in summer. Not sure any of our other players will really be in demand, hence our league position. Our best players are all injured!
