it was nice to see lamela getting the credit he deserved from the fans yesterday,he got a great reception from us in the Paxton as he came over to take a corner.

spot on with eriksen being off form but lets hope he becomes the player he can be soon.

Watford will be tough tomorrow.

hope you had a good Christmas

I wonder what chicken will say. Probably give him a 4/10 he looks like a real plank now every time he skates lamela. Been one of our best players this season

For me Eriksen probably does not suit our system defensively. He is not very good at pressing but we know that he has the quality to win a game from a set piece or find that killer ball. In truth, he is out of form...

I think that I always expected Lamela to become one of our best players. Not because he showed it on the pitch, more because I could not figure out how he was not getting dropped with some dismal performances. That said, he got 7 assists last season which was impressive considering his injuries.

I'd say that we stick with both. I don't think Son is doing enough to displace Eriksen and until he does, then we should stick with them.

Once thing that we now know about Poch is that they will not stay in the team unless their performances merit it.

I hope you win the league. You have some young quality english players and a very good manager.

The thing I notice with Eriksen and Lamela is that if they both play 'wide', only one of them will have an influential game, and the other will be quiet.

I think if both play, one should be through the middle and a quicker more direct player should start on the other flank

Lamela was excellent. If he can add goals (in the league) to his game he'll certainly justify his £30m fee. I don't think Eriksen is playing badly. He's creating chances, but isn't doing enough to grab games.

I watched Poch at the start of the second half and he was really drilling the team. Was great to see and helped stop the complacency we saw v Newcastle

Big difference between Poch and LVG then

Lamela looks stronger on the ball getting to grips with the Epl

Lamela can also take a very good free kick, but Eriksen seems to have first dibs with taking them, sometimes the angle etc will suit a left footer more than Eriksen but Lamela rarely gets a look in.

Eriksen and Lamela are also good at dead ball delivery, two good options there.

It'll probably be an unpopular call, but I wouldn't be averse to selling Lamela in the Summer if his stock is high, unless we start seeing a return from him in terms of league goals.

The way we play now, with the three midfielders, it really puts the onus on the front three to contribute goals. Eriksen does, as does Chadli, and Son will I'm sure, as he has done all of his career to date at both clubs.

I'd see how the ground lies with Pritchard once he gets fit, and possibly look to sell both Townsend and Lamela, and bring another goalscoring winger in

It's a real toughie though as he is playing well...I'd like to see Lamela given a go through the middle at some point, playing in an orthodox 10 role. I think that's his long term future here for us myself

not sure i follow your logic HRH… you say he is playing well, so you want to sell him?

Try reading the whole thing and you will see my logic
