agree with this

He's a decent RB. Walker is best left to the bench if Spurs are serious about ambitions, and left at home if England are serious about theirs in Euros

I like walker even though I agree he can be prone to an error or two in a game. His speed especially when chasing back is pretty awesome. He needs to work on his game a bit as has been pointed out in particular his crossing into the box. But Tripper was pretty impressive yesterday and I would keep in starting 11 against Everton, try and give him a run of 4 -5 games maybe to see how he shapes.

That's it, it's the crossing what I love about trippier. Every ball he puts into the box is dangerous and almost gets us a goal. Walker on the other hand can't cross for sh** and that's the truth.

Top geezah, I'm not keen on over packing the team with defenders mate. Possible good idea for maybe mancity away etc but certainly not as a normal formation

Walker has been quality this season, no way should he lose his place after Trippier has had one decent performance

Im a massive fan of Walker, think Trippier played well yesterday but dont think it will be a consistent change.7

Think Trippier was only ever bought as a good back up to Walker as he was injury prone

Walker is so much better at FB than trippier. He played alright yesterday but he didn't really have to defend that much as Toby sorted that side out.

Walker comes back in for Everton

It's nice to know we have good options for both fullback positions - different styles too - all played over Christmas and we won both games

I'd always pick both Rose and Walker all the time we have no pace elsewhere in the side though

Rose had a proper mare though didn't he against Watford

I wouldnt, Everton are leaky AF at the back,

let Toby and Jan cover The Kak, Dier to battle with Barkley and send the Fullbacks to punish there defense

Your forgetting about how good Delefoue (sp) is.

Rose had a superb game v Everton in the 0-0, pinned Coleman back superbly. I think we would be inviting Coleman to go at us by picking Davies, as he won't get closed down playing as we do.

Delofeu is a cracking little player, but he's as much Dier and Vertonghen's problem as he is Rose's

Walker doesn't deserve to be dropped

Don't forget that Trippier played as a wing back yesterday so he had less defensive responsibility

posted on 29/12/15

depends on what system poch plays ( now he has got 2 ) trippier was excellent as a wing back, but maybe walker better defending

I think Trippier has had a rough ride off some fans based on very little match time, in much the same way as Carroll is getting now. I saw some interesting stats on him when we bought him and I think he was right up with the best in the league for his number of crosses into the opposition box per game, and cross accuracy.

Give the bloke a chance

I am a big trippier fan. He is a fantastic fullback and was glad we signed him in summer. As with the signing of Davies, it has forced the established fullback (walker) to up his game big time this season and he has done.

He still has brainfarts at least one a game and that will stop him from ever becoming top class but I would bring him back in for Everton

We have four very good fullbacks !

I think Trippier has been alright when I've seen him. It's nice to have another option there, but I don't think he was any better against Watford than Walker has been consistently this season. The odd fluff aside he has been superb

I normally agree with you, but Walker is miles in front of Trippier mate, although Trippier played pretty well yesterday, and is improving. I have not been that impressed with Trippiers defending in the Europa, he seems to let the wide man he is supposed to be marking free reign. But he is young, and obviously I hope he comes on in leaps and bounds.

Now if you are talking about Davies over Rose, now that is a different story. I thought Rose was very poor yesterday, and I will be surprised if Davies is not starting at Goodison.

I have to disagree totally. Ina a 5 at teh back system yesterday Trippier had virtually no defensive duties. His crossing is good but he catn go past a man to get a cross in and virtually every time he gets the ball he goes backwards.

I quite rated him when we bought him but from what I have seen so ar from him this season there is no way on gods earth he should get in the side before Walker.

In Europa League he was awful at defending, I'm sure Walker would of been a beast without as much defensive duty yesterday.
