Sandy in 3..2..1.. with 11 nobodies
I've only supported Spurs for about 5 years and watched EPL for about 15 years, so based on that
Lloris
Corluka---King---Toby---Rose
-------VDV---Carrick---Modric
----Bale----Kane----Ginola
Ultra attacking but i like it
@Nice oneCyril
Danny Powell? Stumped me there!
Pat Jennings
Joe Kinnear Mike England Ledley King Cyril Knowles
Danny Blanchflower John White Dave Mackay
Cliff Jones Jimmy Greaves Gareth Bale
Alternative team:
Hugo Lloris
Steve Perryman Maurice Norman Gary Mabutt Peter Baker
Glenn Hoddle Paul Gascoigne Luka Modric
Terry Dyson Bobby Smith David Ginola
You could also add any of the following:
Alf Ramsey, Martin Peters, Martin Chivers, Terry Venables, Gerry Francis, Mel Hopkins, Tony Marchi, Johnny Brooks, Terry Medwin, Terry Yorath, Ted Ditchburn, Dimitar Berbatov, Graham Roberts to name but a few.
Oooooooooooops, forgot Mr Clean, Gary Lineker!!!

Sandy picked a team that won trophies and was Spurs greatest ever side in their history. You stick with your modern teams of hype, I will stick with real winners. Not sure why you had to post a negative post to my team, the article quite clearly says the best players you have seen play. So why would I not put down Spurs greatest ever team, which I saw play on many, many occasions, and gave me the greatest pleasure watching any Spurs side.

Sorry & well spotted , meant Danny Thomas, really talented & skilful right back/midfielder we brought from Coventry City. Played and missed a penalty in the 1984 EUFA cup final.
Loved by the fans his career was cut short by a knee injury in 1987 at only 26 years old.
To be fair I did post my best ever team. My best ever 11 players.
Jennings
Kinnear
Knowles
Blanchflower
Norman
Mackay
Jones
Hoddle
Smith
Greaves
White
Genius, we picked a very similar XI, obviously very wise old heads.
Sandy
Old being the operative word...........
If I was picking a 4231 as we play now, with players that actually fit the system and not shoehorning them in it'd be.....
....................Lloris
Carr.....King......Mabbutt.....Ziege
.............Modric...Carrick
Bale...........Gascoigne......Ginola
.................Sheringham
Really tough to pick between Ted and Jurgen, and indeed Kane now. To pick two, one of the three behind would have to be dropped. Probably Bale.
A 352 would be.....
........................Lloris
...........Toby...Mabbutt...King
Anderton...Carrick...Modric....Bale
......................Gascoigne
....................Ted.......Klin
Hugo
Danny Thomas
Alderweireld
Sir Ledley
Hughton
Hoddle
Perryman
Gascoigne
Bale
Klinsmann
Waddle
