Chronic, I'll be happy flogging the useless Townsend to them and give them 11/12 mil on top. Townsend is worth about 8 mil and berahino for me anything between 15/20 mil. He will fit spurs like a glove in my opinion

I still wonder why nobody has taken a punt on Jordan Rhodes

If we end up with Son or Chadli as cover it would not surprise me but lets try it for the cups(if it comes dowm to it). Agreed Kane will need a break at some point if not now.

I hope we buy someone but best to manage expectations.

I've been a fan of Afobe since he was on loan at Mk Dons first part last season.

Scored a lot of goals for both Mk & Wolves last season and doing okay again this.

Works incredibly hard & holds the ball up well too

Ighalo would cost far more than we'd ever offer

I was not impressed with the way Ighalo kept throwing his toys out of the pram when they played us anyway

You would think we will sign somebody as cover for Kane, even if it is a loan deal

I agree with all you said Don. We desperately need to sign a quality striker in the January transfer window (even if it's on loan), as if he gets injured then we've got next to no chance of finishing in the top 4!
