Lloris is world class. Not one of the best 5 keepers in the world but still world class. He wouldnt look out of place in a top team. He is world class. That is your lot though. Kane is a decent prospect but I doubt he will ever be more than a premier league journeyman

By the way a journey man is someone who has been at lots of clubs without ever being a top player. Kane is already a top player who would get into most if not all the top PL sides!

There are very few WC players in the prem anymore. They all went to the big 2, got old and/or retired.

Almost half the WC prem universe is the 3 keepers at United, Chelsea and Arsenal. It's that bad.

Van Nistelrooy wasn't terribly quick or skilful, but he had this horrible knack of sticking the ball in the net on a regular basis, and yes, he was world class

Only Messi to me is world class of any current player currently playing, all others blow hot and cold and on the international stage most are pony. Far too many players are labelled world class, when they clearly are not.

messi has been cack for argentina, even to the point of bottling it vs neuer in the world cup final. He was poor in the quarter and semi too. As in he did literal nothing. If you want to include international play then iniesta is way above messi. Messi is obviously amazing. But your logic sucks

Sometimes with `world class` players comes an ego also, I would much rather have a team of very good solid players than a team with 1 or 2 world class players with an ego.

Team spirit and players pulling for each other can go a very long way, Athletico Madrid are a fine example of this, a couple of egos around the place can soon upset the apple cart.

Yeah i suppose Atletico are a good example, but conversely a top player with the right sort of ego can transform teams, bit like Cantona with United

What we do have are several very good players, and a lot of good/decent players, which can often take you further under the right management

Lloris for me isn't a top 5 keeper. He's not got that presence that the very best have

Lloris is absolutely a WC keeper.

He may not have the presence but to hold that against him would put DDG in the same boat. De Gea is an outstanding shot stopper but not as good positionally, hence why he saves so many with his feet/legs and is a hreat keeper because of it.

Lloris may not have the presence of Cech or Courtois, but is a better stopper and far quicker off his line to save.

They all have different attributes, but Lloris is absolutely in the same bracket as those 3.

I disagreed with Analog about Lloris - meaning i think Lloris is WC.

Maybe i should have worded my post as:
