Supported Utd since I was very young. Had a twang of conscience when I was older and started going to watch my local club. Couldn't drop the affinity for Utd though
Did the "twang of conscience" coincide with their time in the prem?
The people that support 2 clubs are normally always United fans I have found. Wonder why..

Super duper cool dudes?
Probably as they only developed any real interest in the game later on, before that they only picked a club due to peer, and general social, pressure.
HC not far off as usual, sir.
Possibly, I have always supported Leicester as I was born and still live here and my dad wouldn't have it any other way, but I did manage to convert my United supporting friend to the point that he only supports Leicester now.

The route I should have gone, but had no fatherly guiding influence in that respect.
Imagine going from playing with pace and freedom and Vardy making runs in front of you to being asked to pass the ball backwards whilst fat Wayne puffs around the 18-yard box like a steam powered snail running out of coal.
Mahrez may very well move on, but I'd be surprised if United are an attractive proposition for any attacking player right now. Arsenal may firm up their reported interest in the summer mind you and, if they do, I think we'll find it hard to keep hold of him.
As for the original question I'm not sure you can consider Gray as a replacement for Riyad - that's putting far too much pressure on the young lad's shoulders. As Dunge says our chances of finding a like for like replacement for such a talented player are slim - we'll just have to cope as a team if and when he leaves.

LCFC should sell vardy and the rest now whilst their value is highest. I dont see them doing much more than currently. Sell high basically. Then wait till the summer and invest in he youth system and some young players.
Yep. They should throw away their best chance in the club's history to win the first tier for the sake of a few quid.

Its not a few quid. They can get a fortune for their players. And Vardy is just on a hot streak. i doubt he will score 30 more premier league goals in his career from now. Better to sell for inflated money now. Seen as they probably wont make the top 4 regardless.
I don't think the value of Vardy and Mahrez, et al, will fall too much in a few months. In the meantime they have a chance to make history.

We don't need the money and we don't want to sell, why would we care about losing their potential future value?

Because you could flog them now and invest in the long term. Buy some hot prospects or invest in the clubs youth system or scouting network. It makes no sense to hold on to vardy when his value has peaked and he will most probably rapidly lose him value from now onwards.

You see, that's basic economics and also everything wrong about the high levels of football.

Or just keep them until the end of the season and then keep them because we don't want to sell and don't care about the money either.
As Schlupp said, these players are priceless and we don't need to sell anyone to buy more players and we've just signed a hot prospect for the future. Money isn't an issue.
If you know a player wants to leave as CR you let him go the balance is when its in the best interest of the club. There are two sides not just the club don't want to sell.
If we are going to lose a player of Mahrez's quality whether its next year or whatever its the clubs responsibility to maximize their already good return on investment.
Well Mahrez and Vardy are both happy and both have said they want to stay, so why does everyone think they're going to leave at the end of the season?
I think everyone is blatantly underestimating what the players have here in terms of the squad unity, the football we play, our manager, fans, the 100% FACT that we will be playing in a 42k stadium next season and in Europe and are a club who in the coming seasons, will be challenging for exactly the same positions as the teams he's supposedly going to jump ship for.
Mahrez won't want to leave and I will put money on that he will want to stay and be a part of where this club is going.
Vardy has already said he's not interested in leaving and wants to be a part of where we're going.
"why does everyone think they're going to leave at the end of the season? "
Because they can play for a big club if they move on
