Lucas is right. When we start well we play well.

Can usually tell what type of performance we will have for the rest of the game within the first 10 mins.

I just don't get it. In the games where we're poor, it just doesn't look like we're trying to play in the same manner as tonight. Almost as if they've all made a conscious decision that they can't be bothered????

we went behind due to bad luck/refs twice recently and lost

we have confidence issues no doubt

Conf issues? Really..1-0 down to saints, cfc away and beat them!

Thought Allen played well, good to have Milner back, I'be proved me wrong and played with thought and better movement between the lines and Mig looked solid.

Good result.

Absolutely. A game from 3 months ago has little to no bearing on current confidence. Getting biffed 3 times by teams you should be beating does.

Boys should be proud of themselves after tonight.
Shown real determination, and strength of character.
Well done.

Its the Zeitgeist of this seasons premier league, and not particularly peculiar to Liverpool.

Maybe so. Still knacker your confidence as a player.

sorry Kaiser's missus

I fancied us tonight, I think we took this game very seriously and perhaps prioritised it in our training and preparation.

We have one foot in a cup final which would be a great way for Klopp to start.

Looks. Like we are playing most of the youth team on Friday.

Very good tactically tonight, unfortunately at a cost though. Who knows what line up we will see at Exeter on Friday, will be interesting for sure.

I'm not too concerned about Exeter tbh even with the injuries.

It could be a tricky game, then again it could be easy.

You can never tell with these cup ties.

They have lost their last 4 in league 2 including 3 at home.

But they did beat a L1 side at home in the last round.

Of course we should win even with kids, but then we should have beaten Oldham the other year.
