Why? Only needed a visa for Moldova and that was easy, just nipped down to London to the Moldovan Embassy, simple really.

Had trouble driving through Bosnia though, needed s green card but didn't know. At the border the bloke signalled for us to go over and wait and then came out and gave me the envelope with all the vehicle documents in, said something we didn't understand and walked off. Waited about 10 mins and nothing so we drove off and nobody followed so we thought all good.

Got to the border at the other end of the mountain range and realised they took our passports so Gordan, the security guy took us back in the morning, stopping off in this awesome little town for breakfast and then we got our passports and continued into Croatia.

Minor hiccup but nothing too bad. Even managed to sell the car in Kiev!

Because that visa was a pain in the arrsh to get and originally we were driving to Moscow and getting the trans Siberian, even got Mongolian visas but the Belorussian's wanted us to get the Russian visa first but we planned to get that in the embassy in Ljubljana. It was there we found out we needed to be in China a week earlier!

In fairness I don't doubt your travel tales dude, having done a shat load myself, and yeah a Belarus visa is a complete


To be honest it's the comical travel agent thing that comes across as ridiculous.
