Tex is the new Suso.

Gone in the summer.

He's nearly 23 not a kid anymore.

Best player on the park for me

Ojo was decent in his few mins quite direct and looks like he could press could be an option

Tex, Ojo and Smith were the standouts for me. Kent did OK for the first 30 minutes.

Good gir smith to score we need him to be able to cover full back even when flanno is back

Kent needs to eat more scouse pie. He is too lightweight

Has Tex been rogering your other half?

Tex will be here next season. That righteous guy talks most of the time sht. He act as he knows what Klopp will do next season. Tex is an option for the cup games and euope league fixtures.

I've been banging Ojo's drum (that doesn't sound right ). So far I figure he is deceptively quick especially over short distances, seems to have good close control of a football and is powerful. I feel he could settle into a striker at some point in years to come.

All the people raving about Tex were saying the same about Suso.

He's 23 FFS

Tex was good last night, and good on loan at Brighton, and good in his few first team appearances.

Then he goes 6 months without getting picked.

Why do people think that is?

It's not because he is brilliant and the managers are all stupid and only you lot know how good he is, is it?

It might have something to do with already having 3 supposed number 10. I say supposed cos they have hardly been playing like a number 10.

It's just excuses Kash.

Good young players force their way into the first team.

Which young player has left Liverpool after not getting into the team often enough and proved Liverpool wrong?

If Tex was better than what is already playing then he would be playing.

It's as simple as that, and unlike the 19 and 20 year olds who have the chance to bulk up and improve, Tex is already about the same age as the players he can't get picked ahead of.

I think he has been unlucky with injuries. Looked good for us in all his rare appearances and really impressed when on loan.

Contract expires in summer so I doubt he will stay. With Coutinho out injured along with so many others it is now or never for him.

The only young players who left us to make it I can think of are the two Spanish defenders San Jose and Barraghan.

San Jose has done well but he plays for a 6-10th placed Spanish team. Not really an outstanding player.

Barragan the same, decent level but Valencia are pretty average in the last few years.

I agree Tex was unlucky with injuries when he first joined. He might have made it with us if he hasn't had two years of injury, but he did.

I don't hate him, he's got ability and will have a decent career somewhere. I just think people are deluded to think he has a first team future with us. The signs are all there that he isn't going to make our team regularly.

If anyone close to Leicestershire, or anywhere along the A50, you can be picked up and dropped off.
