I've just been "belled" by an insider at the club that Diakite is gonna start. Tings can only get better.

Would be an interesting game played at Trent Bridge. Wingers would have a field day with all that space out wide. Having the wicket roped off in the middle of the pitch would be a bit of an obstacle though...

DF has been accused of being a little negative up here too recently. Got some stick after the 1-1 draw at Charlton last week with some fans chanting "Boring Forest". Not scored a ton of goals this season but also unbeaten since November.

Have made what look like two decent signings in the transfer window in Gary Gardner from Villa and Bojan Jokic from Villareal so hopefully a bit of a buzz about the team today and the R's winless run on the South side of the Trent will be extended!...

Don't know much about Jokic but Gardner should prove a good signing.

He had a productive spell at the CG last year so hopefully he can pick up where he left off. He also turned down Leeds so instant hero!

Jokic is a Slovenian left back who's got a fair few caps for them so should hopefully be able to handle the Championship.

Perchino to get a game for your lot today by the looks?

He's recovered from is injury, just a matter of if he's picked. I'd like to think we'll experiment. With Mr Perch you know exactly what you're gonna get.

How are you QPR fans finding Perch?

He was one player I was delighted to get off our books, had potential as a right back but was played everywhere else it seemed - centre half, left back, defensive midfield - and he was woeful in all of them. Got tagged as 'versatile' yet he had no positional discipline whatsoever, headless chicken!! Has he matured any with age, to be fair it wasn't his fault he was played to such horrible affect all around the pitch as that was the fault of a series of useless mgrs

He's ad plenty of runouts cos he's about the only right back we ave. Thats been is only position, and to be fair i don't think he's been that bad.

Forgot to say, there's even been talk of Mackie playing right back, such is our lack of back up for Perch.

Blimey - that IS bad!

Mackie would be a decent right back IMO. Is tenacious and battles well. There would also be less chance of him being put through one on one with the opposition's keeper!

Perch was hung out to dry, particularly by Davies when he played at left back in the play offs v Blackpool. I agree he should have been right back but Curtis then Chambers had made that position their own at the time.

Well, thats the cup gone, no surprise there. What was surprising was why Clint Hill was played. What was surprising was why with over 20 minutes to go do we bring on a full back (Perch) when there's Hoilett and Poulter sitting on the bench. Ad Jim/Les already given the game up ?

QPR had the lion's share of possession second half too. Just lacking someone who could've delivered a decent ball into the box. Was surprised Hoilett didn't get a chance. Can't believe a manager would sacrifice a game. Wins usually breed wins and confidence. Forest were there for the taking, especially after the Lansbury injury.

"opposition was there for the taking" has been the same story all season. We just don't have the management with the experience to do it. At least you ave the chance to "draw" a big name, or would Derby at ome be better.
