So going back to Herb's post quoting Beaver chops, we have already bought 2 players? Micky Giro and who?

interesting line

Faced with this difficult situation, and with circumstances now changed for Wolves with the Club being made available for sale, Wolves were left with little other option than to reluctantly accept the substantial bid.

So not business as usual as we were told then?

We did them in most departments Gem, singing being number 1

Well done you! Just over 3000 Wolves fans there today. Just a pity that we couldn't hold on for the Molineux replay.

No doubt he wants to try himself in the prem, that isn't really in doubt in my mind, but i don't believe for a minute he was throwing his toys out of his pram in the summer after being here for a matter of months.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It doesn't say he threw his toys out the pram in the summer. It says that since the bids in the summer he has stated his desire to leave for the Premier League consistently. This would fit in with his lazy and disinterested performances since September time.

I have said before that I think that he thought he would be playing Premier League football at the end of the summer transfer window, but the club held strong in their valuation which no one met. This story fits in well with that and if it is a lie (which I doubt), I am sure Afobe will come out in the press and say so, as it is an attack on his character.

However, before September, we regularly saw press pieces on Benik where he would give interviews and speak of how content he was, how he wants to help push the club forwards, work he does in the community etc. I don't recall seeing any of those since the transfer window closed.

It would be madness not to accept a bid of £12 million for a player who doesn't want to be here.

No problem with the sale personally tam, ultimately it is good business.

It is the bullshat that goes with it that i don't like.

He has constantly reiterated his desire to play in the premier league since the summer?

How exactly?

Just throwing it into random conversations with Kenny all the time?

Bolloks!!!

How the world has changed. Wolves, one of the forerunners of European football and one of the most famous clubs in the world is now a smaller club than Bournemouth.

It is you swallowing every word the club pedals despite us already knowing they lie and spin constantly

Something you yourself have happily told us time and again.

For what its worth i do think he is happy to leave now and i do believe it is a simple business decision.

I don't however believe he has been sulking because he couldn't leave in the summer, that doesn't fit at all to me.

Get used to it, it is going to get even worse.

Cinci, The Club's statement ties-in with fans' observations prior to the statement, not the other way round.

I regularly tell my employer if I want to go on a course or to progress with the company etc. I also regular ask about pay rises if I think I am due on.

I don't see why it is so unbelievable that Benik would say more than once that he wants to leave Wolves for Premier League football. If what the club is saying is wrong, I am sure he will reject the contract from Bournemouth and make it known.

Again cyp, you seem to think the fans amount to ja606.

Many others don't share the view at all, and certainly not as far back as september and october.

*due one

Not due on. I don't bleed monthly.

Like i say, i don't believe parts of what i am hearing and expect he is now happy to go, but i certainly will not believe a single word the club say as they have proven again and again that they are full of shat.

Kenny was surprised that we had had no interest in Benik two days ago for feck sake

That's ok. Not everyone will have the same view, but those that thought him disinterested and having a bit of an attitude problem seem to be vindicated.

Probably surprised as Benik made it known he wanted to leave and his agent was touting him.

''We won't be selling any strikers this season''

''The day to day running of the club hasn't changed''

''due to the sale of the club circumstances have changed''

And on and on.

face the world as it is, not how you wish it to be

one of the first things jackett has done right is the backs to the wall ultra defensive tatic,
we are not good enough to go with an attacking approach and to carry on as we were up to sheff wed would have meant possible relegation.

while saying that its jackett who got us here so he should be sacked

Anyway, whatever the reality, we move on and have a nice lump of money to spend of course

Yeah, right
