Interesting line up from Wenger, Ox and Chambers in midfield, Walcott at No. 10.

posted on 9/1/16

Must be a 4-4-2 with Walcott and Giroud as strikers.

Comment taken from Arseblog news which is SPOT ON.
"I really don’t understand our kindness towards Debuchy. I mean yes, he was unlucky with inruries but he is long enough in the business to know how it works. If we let him go in January it’s generous enough but I don’t understand why he isn’t able to play for us as long as we pay his wages in a game where a break for Hector wouldn’t be a bad Thing at all. Apart from Hector I would have only rested one of Giroud or Walcott. To play them both with the upcoming fixtures is quite risky but we will see."

Giroud should be tarting on the bench today, if we burns out and we aren't bringing another striker in we are screwed

Debuchy is able to play. He is on the bench.

Trust you to be pedantic. He should start to give Bellers a rest.

No, I think Wenger got this spot on. Our players had a good week to recover from the last game.

But only 3 days before Liverpool...

Normal for professional footballers. Could cope with it.

Who are we even playing in midfield? Chambers, Chamberlain and?

I know there is a risk. I dont deny it but Giroud is the least who is injury prone. Theo hasnt played that much.

Quite a "Football Manager" selection from Wenger there, with no recognised midfielders in the starting lineup. This is going to be an ordeal.

Not really. Liverpool players have 10 days to rest and prepare.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How so? They played yesterday and have many injured players out when we face them on Wednesday.

I am more worried of the Chambers-Ox combo in midfield. How do we create anything for our forwards ?

This (but without the typos.)

Giroud is at his best when he is fresh and he is not fresh atm. Theo would probably like to play up front as well and Campbell can play on the wing.

'They played' - they being a bunch of kids with only Benteke in contention for a start.
