We don't play youth at Chelsea. It's easier just accepting that fact and getting on with it.

Sorry but that sounds suspiciously like just another excuse. It's always the same.

We can't play youth because we're playing too well and don't want to upset the balance and momentum. Or we can't play youth because we're playing too poorly and it would be bad for youth to play in a losing team.

There always an excuse. Where is this magical goldilocks zone where our youth actually get played ? As I keep saying we don't play youth, end of.

Nah, I'm all in favour of how seriously Hiddink is taking this. We need to keep our options open, and a trophy is a trophy. Benitez understood that and I'm glad so does Hiddink.

All the line up suggests is a chronic lack of confidence in the youth, but considering Mourinho felt the same way it's more of a reflection on them than our management.
