The sad thing was that a Pak V India series was pencilled in for now but they couldn't agree.

Dhoni is fine, until they find a suitable replacement.
I think Kohli is a good batsmen, but not a captain, same could have been said for Tendulkar.

I don't know,out of the current squad who could step up, but someone will need to soon.

When he scores tons they are massive.

They are, and he clearly has the talent to deliver, its just the knocks inbetween these tons. If he started to get some consistency, he could be a top batsman

I wonder how India can justify scoring only 309 after being just 1 wicket down pretty much the whole game. Rohit had a Sr. Of less than 100 for pretty much the whole game and kohli a Sr of 90. We are still playing odis as if this is the 2000s.

also have to question dhoni said ability to finish off games. He eats up way too many deliveries before making an impact. Need someone who can hit from ball 1. Every team has someone can hit from ball 1. India is the only team that struggles in this department. I can only imagine what damage someone like maxwell or Faulkner would have caused if aus were 1 down for over 40 overs.
