He does other things, like being in "Fozzy".

Comes across like a 3rd rate The Rock now, that jacket is the only bright spot.

He's not been the same sense he put over Punk in 2012. Not quite sure why, the fact everyone he's put over since haven't broken through doesn't help. He might just be played out.

Did people ever really care about him that much?
-----------------------------------------------------
Coming back for the first time in 2007 was the peak of his appeal to the WWE audience. He was somewhat engulfed by the star power of the roster in the Attitude and Ruthless Aggression eras, but in 2007 he had just enough star power himself to match up against the main eventers at the time.

Very little reaction to him again this week, I guess he's happy to just take the pay cheque, as is contributing very little to fans enjoyment or expectations these days.

The constant coming and going means he never enters any meaningful story lines. Combined with the fact he puts basically everyone over then WWE usually throws the benefactor in the trash doesn't help. Basically people have learned not to expect much from him anymore. Also he probably just isn't as into it as he was.

You'll struggle to find many better than Y2J at his peak.

If he was up for it and came back for an extended period and they booked him properly then he'd be every bit as good as anyone else currently in WWE.
